January
On the day of Pentecost all the believers were meeting together in one place. Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting. Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them. And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability. Acts 2:1-4 NLT
The Upper Room: Soft light flowing from one-hundred and twenty candles greeted churchgoers who came out to the special Candlelight Communion Service held on New Year’s Eve by Russell James and Bishop Ron Lambright. This was a first in the history of the Upper Room that so many candles were lit for a service; Russell said they represented the number of Believers who were gathered inside the Upper Room in Jerusalem on the Day of Pentecost 2000 years ago.

New Year’s Eve Candlelight Service at Upper Room
The radiant glow from the multiple candles that were placed all around the chamber created an atmosphere filled with the captivating presence of the Holy Spirit. It was an awesome experience to actually be there. Miraculously, the tangible presence of the Lord was transmitted through the Upper Room’s Internet channel enabling those watching to feel His peace and love.
Russell announced at the start of the service that it was going to be different from any other New Year’s celebration held there. True to his word, at ten minutes before midnight, he surprised everyone when he interrupted the service and said a wedding was going to take place!

Chuck Lindsey & Melanie Yeary with their family
Immediately, Chuck Lindsey and Melanie Yeary stepped to the front of the congregation along with their family members. Bishop Ron Lambright then married the couple. This ‘surprise’ wedding set in a backdrop of flickering candlelight created a precious moment in time for both the couple and everyone who witnessed the ceremony.
During the month of December, the Upper Room posted on its facebook page that the movie Four Blood Moons – the Movie will be released in theaters for one day only on March 23rd. Segments for this documentary were filmed at the Upper Room last November by 4BM Productions. The docu-drama is based on the historical and biblical meaning of four red-colored moons appearing during a lunar eclipse in a two year period. The National Aeronautic Space Agency has named red-colored moons Blood Moons.
History has shown there is a startling relationship between the appearance of four Blood Moons in a two-year cycle that fall on the Jewish Holy Days of Passover and the Feast of Tabernacles that coincide with major world events concerning the Jewish people. The world is presently experiencing another two-year cycle of the appearance of four Blood Moons falling on Passover and The Feast of Tabernacles, which is a rare phenomenon that will not occur again for 600 years according to NASA (National Aeronautic Space Agency).
Academy Award winning director Keith Merrill and producer Rick Eldridge combined their talents to create a compelling docu-drama that reveals the biblical significance of Blood Moons. The movie concentrates on four Blood Moon appearances during the plight of the Jewish people in 1492-93* when they were exiled from Spain during the Spanish Inquisition, the restoration of the state of Israel in 1948 and the Six Day War of 1967 when Israel repatriated Jerusalem for the first time in 2000 years.
*This is when Christopher Columbus discovered America, giving the Jewish people a safe place to escape. It is said that there were actually Jewish people on his ships. After the new world was discovered, thousands of Jewish families started migrating to America to avoid ruthless persecution.

December 29th – 31st – For the second consecutive year, MorningStar Ministries New Year’s Gathering was both a celebration and a sober look at the state of the world, focusing on the movement of the terrorist group ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq & Syria). From guest speakers Kamal Saleem who spoke about threats of violence against America from the members of ISIS, to retired Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin warning every American that there are enemies facing us from both within and without, and why something must be done to stop them. Both men presented such startling facts about our enemies’ growing capability to destroy America that conference goers became very aware of just how serious this threat really is.
Lt. Gen. Boykin is presently the Executive Vice President of the Family Research Center, http://www.frc.org/jerryboykin, in Washington D.C. He was one of the original members of the U.S. Army’s Delta Force, commanded the U.S. Army’s Green Berets, and is an ordained minister. Kamal Saleem, who himself was once a terrorist, and General Boykin recently co-authored a novel titled The Coalition, a fictional work describing the future of radical Islam.
On Kamal Saleem’s website, http://www.koomeministries.com/, the book is described as follows:
“The Coalition written by counter-terrorism expert LTG (Ret.) William “Jerry” Boykin and terrorism expert Kamal Saleem will be released by Post Hill Press on Nov. 11, 2014. The Coalition describes a world where Muslims have succeeded in becoming the majority populace of several European countries, adding to their dominance in the Middle East. With the spread of radical Islam accelerating and Sharia law as the backdrop, this character-driven novel tells the story of a divided world and two men who epitomize opposite sides of an ideological chasm.”
Additionally, General Boykin, along with his colleague Dr. Stuart Weber, co-founded the Kingdom Warriors ministry located in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Their website is: http://www.kingdomwarriors.net/about.php
On New Year’s Eve, Rick Joyner, General Boykin and Kamal Saleem set up an open ‘Question & Answer’ segment, giving conferences goers an opportunity to ask each of them their biblical perspective on subjects that ranged from current world events to the condition of the church at large.
Rick Joyner feels so strongly about the problems facing America that he is scheduling Oak Initiative meetings to resume in the hotel on Monday nights starting in January. The Oak Initiative is a “grassroots movement to Unite, Mobilize, Equip and Activate Christians to be the salt and light they are called to be by engaging in the great issues of our time from a sound biblical worldview…”

New Church on the grounds! Abounding Grace Church now meets in the Magnolia Room at the Heritage Grand on Sunday mornings at 11 A.M.
In the summer of 2013 God began to put the birthing of a church on the hearts of Pastors Michael and Nicole Carson. After much prayer and fasting, Abounding Grace Church was birthed in February 2014. The church is described as “God’s church where all are welcome. It is a Full Gospel Non-Denominational Church with a Pentecost experience.”
While Abounding Grace Church is new, its leaders have been involved in various ministries locally, nationally and globally. They have witnessed many miracles in the lives of God’s people. They have seen the dead raised, blind eyes opened, the deaf hear, the sick and diseased healed and the crippled walk! They are excited about what God is doing in these times and can’t wait to watch Him manifest in your life! The church asks that you “Come as you are and leave eternally changed!”

Kensington Place Condos: We recently learned that the Kensington Place Condos Homeowners’ Lawsuit against MUI (Malaysian United Industries) that has dragged on for several years was declared a victory in October 2014.
Originally built by the PTL Ministry, these condos have fallen into great disrepair and the Kensington owners filed a lawsuit against the current owners, Malaysian United Industries.
The following message was posted on Kensington Place’s facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/KensingtonPlaceRegentParkLawsuit?hc_location=timeline
VICTORY FOR KENSINGTON OWNERS!
We are pleased to report that the lawsuit filed against MUI was successfully completed last week after pursuing it for more than six years. In June of 2008, the lawsuit was filed by a group of Kensington Place owners naming two defendants, the developer – MUI and Regent Park Corporation, as well as the Homeowners’ Association Board of Directors under MUI’s management.
The settlement awards from both defendants total $1.5 million. We settled with MUI for one million dollars and with Travelers Insurance Company, who represented the MUI-managed KPOA, for $500,000. The money will be used to repair the building, based upon the results of the professional inspection commissioned by the plaintiffs’ attorneys, Jeff Leath and Mike Seekings.
Significantly, our attorneys accomplished something never before done in South Carolina – a small group of owners has successfully sued a developer without the support of the Board of Directors. A larger settlement might have been possible if the present Board of Directors had supported the lawsuit. However, they chose to oppose our efforts despite repeated appeals for them to join our pursuit of justice on behalf of all owners.
In the coming months, the plaintiff group, through an independent trustee, will oversee repairs to the building to bring it up to safer and healthier conditions.
We are extremely thankful to our attorneys for accepting the challenges of our case; using their skills and persistence in what was a long and complex legal battle to benefit all Kensington owners.
Best regards,
Deborah Pulliam, on behalf of the Kensington Plaintiffs

Toward the end of 2014, Pastor Jim spoke on one of his shows about what the Lord showed him for 2015. He also wrote the following article about what to be aware of in the coming year.
2015 WORD OF THE LORD ~ Pastor Jim Bakker
“Seeking the Lord for a word for the new year is always a very serious pursuit and this year is even more crucial as we see the “red lights of prophecy” flashing all around us and God’s plan unfolding at breakneck speed. The Lord began to speak to me while we were in Israel, and the word that I give to you I sincerely pray will resonate with your spirit and cause you to be more prepared for these times we see looming on the horizon. Remember that in the midst of all the turmoil there is a promise of His Return and that is cause for great rejoicing!
The Year of the Farm
As our world becomes increasingly unsure, there will be few things that will be as vital as having the ability to grow your own food. This is true for everyone, everywhere, and God is orchestrating these centers for survival in strategic locations across the country.
For us here at Morningside, it’s a mandate given by God to be a City of Refuge envisioned and written about in my books. A central and essential part of that refuge is the farm. It’s not just a good idea, it’s a God idea!
This year, we are believing God for the miracle of the Morningside farm. It has always been in my heart to have a place of safety, survival, health, teaching, preaching and fellowship in the End Times. I believe it’s time to finish the vision and we can do it with your help. Now is the time!
Be Watchful of these Nations
When the Lord gave me the “31 Things” back in 1999, I knew that most of the things on my list were for a future time. I can’t say this with enough emphasis: now is that time!
It is time to watch Turkey, North Korea, China, the Middle East and especially Russia. Turkey is not a friend to Israel. This will be an event filled year for Russia. North Korea has nuclear power and an EMP could destroy the U.S. with one blow.
Beware of the Wounded Bear
A wild animal doesn’t have much to lose and a wounded bear is going to be very dangerous to the U.S. and the Holy Land. God is saying, “Russia has been very quiet but they’re about to make some noise.”
The economy of Russia is crashing. There is nothing like a wounded bear who has nothing to lose and Russia may have its own Sampson option. Because of their economy crashing, they will take over other territories to try to prop up their own.
Keep Your Hands Off Israel
I have often said that if you want to understand future prophetic events, you need to know how God feels about Israel. Watch Jerusalem, it is the City of Truth and the Mountain of the Lord. (Zech. 8:1)
God says, “Take your hands off My country (Israel). Don’t touch them!” God further explained, “There will be upgraded warfare and attacks against the Rabbis. Warn the synagogues to increase their security!”
I saw massive armies of angels in a vision, with enormous shields going out to do warfare on Israel’s behalf. We are entering one of the most important times in human history in these last days.
If the world thinks they can use Israel as a political football, they have another thing coming! God will be God and watch over His people, the Jews. We better not have anything to do with dividing Israel for the sons of Ishmael. God made that determination many years ago.
A lot of the prophets have been talking about the New Madrid fault. John Kilpatrick says that once we really push Israel to divide its land, God will divide this nation.”

On the 4th, our local newspaper The Herald reported that the jury trial scheduled for the 2nd in the case of MorningStar Fellowship Church vs. York County, South Carolina regarding the future of the unfinished Towers that MorningStar had proposed to finish as residential condominiums was put on “hold.”
The Herald reported, “The dispute was headed to trial earlier this week. But first York County Circuit Court Judge Dan Hall needed to rule on a question of MorningStar’s ability to submit evidence related to its claims for damages.” Judge Hall said MorningStar Ministries did not provide substantial evidence to back up its claims of more than $20 million in damages.
MorningStar Ministries is appealing its case to the South Carolina Court of Appeals to overturn the local court’s decisions.

MorningStar appeals ruling on Fort Mill tower ~ by Anna Douglas

MorningStar Fellowship Church of Fort Mill is appealing a local judge’s decision that would keep the church from claiming $20 million in damages through a lawsuit against York County.
The lawsuit was filed more than two years ago after York County Council members declared MorningStar to be in default on a development agreement aimed at moving along renovations on a 21-story, unfinished hotel tower located on the church’s property near Regent Park in Fort Mill. The two sides have been at odds for several years, with county officials and some local residents wanting the church to tear down the building, which was constructed in the late 1980s.
The unfinished hotel tower is a remnant of Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker’s former Heritage USA property. MorningStar bought the property in 2006.
Many residents are frustrated as the battle between York County and MorningStar over the tower’s fate stretches on, said David Yerty, president of the Regal Manor Homeowners Association. Regal Manor includes 10 residential developments along roads like A.O. Jones Boulevard and Regent Parkway, near the MorningStar tower.
The homeowners association, Yerty said, has not taken sides with either the county or the church but is hoping for a quick resolution.
The dispute was headed to trial earlier this week. But first York County Circuit Court Judge Dan Hall needed to rule on a question of MorningStar’s ability to submit evidence related to its claims for damages.
MorningStar’s lawsuit alleges that York County didn’t properly approve site plans for the church’s redevelopment efforts, resulting in “the loss of the value of the tower” at nearly $12 million and potential profits from hotel residents valued at about $7.1 million, among other damages. The county has denied the church’s allegations, questioned the evidence related to the claimed financial loss, and called the deteriorating tower a “nuisance” in court filings.
This week, Hall ruled that MorningStar has not provided substantial evidence to back up its claims of more than $20 million in damages. By immediately appealing Hall’s order, MorningStar is asking that the S.C. Court of Appeals overturn the local court’s decision and allow a jury to hear evidence of its claims.
Attorneys for both sides said the timeline of an appeals court decision and a future trial date is unclear.
Dan Ballou, one attorney representing York County in the MorningStar case, said Hall’s exclusion of damages in the suit is a “positive development.” He declined to comment further, saying it was premature to speak publicly about pending litigation.
MorningStar’s attorney, Richard Fennell, said he hopes for a trial where his client’s evidence will be heard.
Judge: Church claims based on ‘conjecture’
Since the county declared the church in default of the development agreement in 2010, construction costs related to the planned tower renovation have increased, MorningStar’s lawsuit claims. But, Hall says the church’s evidence claiming to show those increased costs is based on “conjecture and speculation and is contradicted by its own experts.”
That evidence, Hall ruled this week, will not be admissible at a trial.
MorningStar also claims that it has spent between $819,000 and $1.2 million on engineering, marketing and architectural costs related to renovating the tower. That money, the church argues, would need to be spent again if MorningStar is allowed to complete the project.
But, based on testimony offered by church officials during a pre-trial deposition, MorningStar “has made no attempt to verify whether any of the expenses must in fact be incurred again,” according to Hall’s order.
In the lawsuit, MorningStar is seeking $7.1 million in damages that church officials say represents the money it would have made from tower unit reservations had the county not declared the church in default. Hall also rejected that claim. The church has not submitted evidence showing that any customer withdrew tower reservations because of the county’s action, Hall’s order states.
By asking for $7.1 million, “MorningStar has simply proposed a number… which it contends, without any objectively measurable support, constitutes an amount of lost income over the next five years on a project that was not complete and had no funding in place,” Hall wrote.
Whether MorningStar had the money to finance or pay for tower renovations was questioned by county officials when the church was found in default on the development agreement.
The county claims that after its staff approved MorningStar’s plan to redevelop the tower, MorningStar failed to prove by a stipulated deadline that it could pay for the project. Church officials argue they didn’t realize their deadline to provide financial information had passed until it was too late.
MorningStar also challenged how it was told about the redevelopment plan’s approval. MorningStar believes the approval should have been sent to Rick Joyner, MorningStar’s president, instead of the project engineer. Also, while both sides agree the county was not obligated to deliver the approval by certified mail, MorningStar officials say that method is what they expected.
The county wanted to keep the certified mail question from a jury. But Hall ruled in favor of MorningStar presenting its views to jurors.
Should MorningStar lose its case against York County for breach of contract, the church could be forced to demolish the tower.
County officials have wanted the tower torn down for many years but agreed to allow for renovations under the now-disputed development agreement with the church. In legal filings, county officials have recently said the old tower has a “progressively deteriorating shell” and “has dominated the Fort Mill skyline for a generation.”
Still, MorningStar officials say the tower has value and is structurally sound. Towers
Could the PTL Towers be a Prophetic Symbol?
For nearly three decades the Towers has remained unfinished no matter who has owned Heritage USA. As homeowners living on the grounds, Rick & I can relate to the feelings of frustration over this deteriorating building that has become an eyesore to residents in and around our community.
As we have written time and again, the Towers should have been completed long ago. To be fair to Rick Joyner, it isn’t necessarily his fault. Looking at the situation from a spiritual perspective, there may be a deeper reason, or even a mystery, why the 21-story building remains stagnated in time.
In 1986, when the Towers was just a few months away from completion, the late David Wilkerson, Pastor of the Times Square Church in New York City, (www.tscnyc.org) observed that, over time, the PTL Ministry had moved from the “Spirit” into the “Flesh” and its theme was leaning toward a prosperity message.
While Heritage USA was exploding with success, Pastor Wilkerson openly voiced his opposition to the prosperity message. Looking ahead in time, he saw that as a result of PTL losing its original vision, Jim Bakker would be reproved and the Towers would not be completed as planned. Pastor Wilkerson went as far as prophesying that birds would be flying in and out of the Towers until the ministry changed course.
At the time, David Wilkerson’s words seemed totally absurd to Jim Bakker because in 1986 six-million people visited Heritage USA. However, his prophetic words have since become a reality to Pastor Jim. To this day, the Towers has remained unfinished and birds are continually flying in and out of the top floors.
The simple truth is only God has control over when or if the Towers will be completed. Long after Jim Bakker left PTL he said that Heritage USA had turned into a “monster” that caused him to have to raise $1 million every two days just to keep it alive!
If Rick Joyner and Earl Coulston had not moved on the grounds in 2004, sections of Heritage USA would not have been refurbished and the many new subdivisions would not exist. Though the grounds were totally reconfigured, acreage sold off and a full restoration did not happen, if these men did not purchase the complex, there would be absolutely nothing left of Heritage USA. On the other hand, disappointment and frustration have been experienced by many families who purchased new homes on the grounds with unfulfilled promises of a shopping mall, restaurants, pristine parks and the removal of the Towers.
There really isn’t a logical answer as to why the Towers has not been completed and has literally defied every effort of restoration. After decades of watching some very sincere people with the funds to finish the Towers fail miserably, is it possible that this building could very well be symbolic of the condition of today’s churches?
When Jim Bakker visited the grounds a few years ago, he actually stated that the unfinished building is a “symbol of the condition of today’s churches” that are teaching people more about how to get “rich” than how to get “saved.” Jim Bakker continually denounces the prosperity message, which he admittedly was a part of toward the end of his tenure at Heritage USA. He rebukes those leaders who teach more about prosperity than about salvation. On his TV program The Jim Bakker Show, and in his recent books Prosperity and the Coming Apocalypse & Time Has Come, Jim Bakker brings to light the truth about what the Lord actually says about money.
When Pastor Jim was incarcerated in 1989, he desperately wanted to know why he was imprisoned because he knew he was not guilty of the charges that landed him there. After seeking the Lord, Jim was shown in a vivid dream that God wanted him to see things through His eyes and have an intimate relationship with Him so that he would know God’s voice. Instantly, Jim Bakker understood that he needed to study the entire Bible.
This started Pastor Jim on a long journey of researching the Bible that included taking “every word” Jesus spoke back to the language it was originally written in. He actually studied the Bible for the entire time he was in prison, sometimes for sixteen hours a day! This in-depth study helped him to cultivate an intimate relationship with the Lord. Now, Jim Bakker realizes that his time in prison, though unfair, actually worked for his good because he built up a strong relationship with the Lord and he learned many spiritual truths that he never fully understood.
It was a turning point in Jim Bakker’s life when he realized that God had nothing good to say about money! In fact, according to the Bible, he found out that “the love of money is the root of ALL evil.” After being released from prison in 1994, Jim Bakker wrote a book about the journey that led him to understanding the inaccuracies of the prosperity message titling it, I WAS WRONG.
Jim Bakker’s statement about the Towers being symbolic of the condition of many of today’s churches lines up with the amazing revelations in Rabbi Jonathan Cahn’s* 2012 mega bestselling book THE HARBINGER. This humble, messianic rabbi discovered startling mysteries in the Book of Isaiah that reveal the possible reason for the 2001 attacks on America that included the Twin Towers in New York City being destroyed. In his book, Rabbi Cahn carefully lays out why he sees judgment coming to America if God’s people do not return to His rules of order.
*Rabbi Jonathan Cahn is the President of Hope of the World Ministries, Senior Pastor and Messianic Rabbi of the Jerusalem Center/Beth Israel in Wayne, New Jersey.
THE HARBINGER gives an account of how the people of ancient Israel went away from the Lord. God continually warned them to return to His rules of order, but when they refused to acknowledge Him and continued to ignore His warnings, God allowed Israel’s enemies to attack!
The attack was brief, limited and left the nation of Israel shaken, but the people did not turn back to the Lord. As they walked through the rubble of their fallen buildings after this brief attack, they said with pride and arrogance, “These bricks have fallen, but we will build again with cut stones. These small trees have been chopped down, but we will put great cedars there.” Isaiah 9:10 NCV
Ancient Israel’s arrogance ultimately led to more attacks by their enemies and yet they still did not turn from their sins and false gods. So, the Lord finally allowed Israel to be destroyed!
Rabbi Cahn says the spiritual condition of America is similar to that of ancient Israel. Both nations were dedicated to God and turned away from Him by eliminating Him from their culture. Though God has continually warned America to turn back to Him through a series of harbingers (warnings) since 2001, most continue on their own way. THE HARBINGER is a powerful account of what is happening to America and could very well apply to the Towers being a prophetic symbol of today’s churches that teach a prosperity gospel.
When the Towers was first being constructed, Jim Bakker likened the building to the Twin Towers in New York City because the building appears to be two separate buildings joined in the middle by a brick wall, thus the building’s name was pluralized by him.
During the month, work began on expanding the Upper Room’s parking lot. It has been a long time in coming, but the work has begun! Trees have been removed and filler dirt has been donated to prepare the ground for more parking spaces.
Tree stumps too close to the walkway need to be ground down along with several other stumps on the newly cleared area. As the work progresses, Russell hopes to be finished with the addition sometime this year.
Note: The Upper Room is now open 7 days a week.
On Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. until noon a prayer and worship meeting with worship leader William Fulmer has recently been added to their schedule.

On the 14th, a special church service for Bob Jones was held in the Heritage Grand. It was one year ago on Valentine’s Day that he went to be with the Lord. There was a good turnout for the event and speakers included Rick Joyner, Bonnie Jones (his wife) and Dave Yearns. After the service, Rick Joyner and all the guests went to the groundbreaking ceremony for a memorial to be established in Bob Jones’ name. It will be located across from the entrance to the Grand Hotel at PTL’s Tram & Train Stop.
Bob Jones was a renowned prophet of the Lord, gave inspiration and prophetic direction to many, and was motivated with God’s heart of compassion. MorningStar is honoring their spiritual father and dear friend by restoring PTL’s historic “Tram Stop,” which will be named the Bob Jones Memorial Center. It will be a place for prayer, meditation and fellowship.

A look back ~ In the middle of winter, it is always heartwarming to hear Tammy Faye sing The Sun Will Shine Again.
Signs of the times:
Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”) No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

The Towers: During the week of the 16th, numerous media outlets covered the story of Eric Kinsinger’s advertisement on an electronic billboard along Interstate 77 asking MorningStar Ministries to tear down the Towers. Eric also oversees the Tear Down the MorningStar Towers facebook page and has been a voice for the many residents on the grounds who want the building torn down.
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Tear-Down-the-Morningstar-Tower/209143829117670
On the 18th, our local paper The Herald printed the following story about the Towers:
“MorningStar tower foe airs grievance on new I-77 billboard.”
By Andrew Stark ~ Special to the Herald
Fort Mill ~ Eric Kinsinger is a man on a mission.
Since 2010, the Fort Mill resident has been spearheading a movement to have the unfinished and much-maligned 21-story MorningStar tower that sits near Regent Park torn down. MorningStar Ministries has owned the land since 2004, promising renovations to the tower, but aside from some interior renovations made on the ground floor in 2007, it has sat idle since.
A court battle between MorningStar and York County has the tower’s future in limbo, but Kinsinger is taking matters into his own hands. This week, he unveiled his message above Carowinds Boulevard.
Kinsinger, who lives in the Regal Manor subdivision a short distance from the tower, paid nearly $1,000 to rent an electronic billboard near Exit 90 on Interstate 77 to display two rotating messages that went live Monday – “It’s been too long” and “Tear the tower down.” The billboard messages come at a time when more traffic than usual is flowing past the sign toward the newly opened Cabela’s store nearby.

A message on this billboard on Carowinds Boulevard in Fort Mill references how long it’s been since MorningStar took over the former PTL tower. | Jeff Sochko JEFF SOCHKO
The tower was initially built by Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker for their PTL and Heritage USA sites, but it was never finished. The Bakkers’ iconic TV ministry and theme park crumbled in the mid-1980s under the weight of sex and financial scandals.
“The tower has been an eyesore since the 1980s and nothing has happened with it,” Kinsinger said. “MorningStar continues to not do anything with it, and the case seems to be going nowhere. This is a little bit broader scale. I’ll get the billboard going and see what happens.”
Efforts to reach MorningStar Ministries officials were unsuccessful Wednesday.
Last year, MorningStar sued York County claiming the county didn’t properly approve the church’s redevelopment plans, resulting in what the church claimed was $12 million in losses from potential profits. The case is currently before the state Court of Appeals. Church leader Rick Joyner unveiled plans several years ago to turn the tower into low-cost senior housing. Later, the plan was amended to mostly high-end condos and apartments for seniors, Joyner called a “refirement community.” But he said some units would be set aside for low-income seniors.
Nothing other than litigation has happened since, including MorningStar’s appeal of a recent court ruling.
Kinsinger said he isn’t as concerned with the current appeals, but the timing of his billboard is a strategic move. The Cabela’s opening is an added bonus, but this week also marks the three-year anniversary of the county’s ruling that MorningStar would not have more time to redevelop the tower and the 20th anniversary of Jim Bakker’s arrest on accounting fraud charges. He was eventually convicted and served jail time.
“MorningStar said they wanted to fix it up and they said they don’t have the money to fix it,” Kinsinger said, “even though they’ve gone out of their way to find their financials. They said they were going to do something for the community with the property beneath the castle once it was taken down.”
“The castle” is a reference to an old Heritage USA attraction. At the time the castle was torn town, Joyner said MorningStar would redevelop the site for public use, mentioning a swimming pool as one possibility.
“That was over a year and a half ago, and they haven’t done anything with it,” Kinsinger said. “They seem like they don’t care, so hopefully this brings awareness.”
Kinsinger has been an outspoken opponent of the tower for the past five years. He operates a Facebook page called “Tear Down the MorningStar Tower,” has made numerous presentations to the County Council, and has written many letters and orders for action from MorningStar.
“I want to raise more awareness to get the word out, and I think the billboards can do that,” he said. “Some people don’t know it’s still standing because it’s so far back in there. I want to bring people to the site and see what MorningStar does.”
Kinsinger said he ultimately doesn’t care what happens with the land, as long as the tower is taken down.
“The county should take on the road since it’s the main road to Sugar Creek Elementary School,” he said. “But I don’t care what goes there. Anything. Nothing. Just as long as they take down that tower. It’s a monstrosity and such an eyesore.”

On the 19th, WSOC TV in Charlotte N.C. did the following video report on the Towers:

March 19th marked the 28th year since Jim Bakker resigned from PTL.
In 2013, Jim Bakker made a historic visit to Heritage USA to broadcast TV programs from the Upper Room and the PTL TV Studios for the first time since he resigned in 1987. Below is a short video from that history-making event:
Along with the excitement surrounding his visit, there were some serious moments during the broadcasts when Jim Bakker shared his heart about the horrific experience of losing PTL. At one of the show’s tapings inside the TV Studio, Pastor Jim actually revealed startling details about the 1987 takeover of Heritage USA, stating he will edit them out of the show that will air on TV. He made it known that this information will only be released upon his death. The Lord told him years ago that if he tried to vindicate himself he would not preach again.
He has since prayed for the people “in the know” to come forward and tell the truth of what led up to his sudden resignation from the PTL Ministry. Quoting from Proverbs he said, “Any story sounds true until someone tells the other side.” Vindication from all the courtroom lies that were told at his 1989 trial would be a miraculous vindication for Jim Bakker and everyone else who was devastated by the loss of the PTL Ministry and Heritage USA.
When Pastor Jim reflected on the “violent loss” of his ministry, he clearly carried a deep heartbreak that has not fully healed. He told the audience that the hostile takeover of the PTL Ministry could have been avoided if only the church had “circled the wagons.” Sadly, there are people to this day who know exactly how his downfall was planned and yet they remain silent.
Because the full story has been covered up, the stigma of the Bakker name continues to follow him, his children and his grandchildren. Jim Bakker failed morally, made mistakes, and trusted the wrong people. Even so, he did not mislead people, steal money nor did he commit the countless transgressions he was accused of by the media and his enemies.
March 19th of 2015 marked the 28th anniversary since Jim Bakker resigned from the PTL Ministry and was thereafter defrocked by his denomination and spent five years in prison after being found “guilty” of defrauding people in one of the most publicized trials of our time.
Very few people know that he was found “not guilty” of defrauding anyone by a Federal Jury at a second trial that was held in 1996, which the media did very little to report. By then, many said that it was too late for him to return – but God was with him. Although his new ministry in Blue Eye, Missouri is reaching the same amount of people as did the PTL Satellite Network, there are still those inside and outside the church that shun the Bakker name.
Sooner or later the truth about the takeover of Heritage USA will surface as Isaiah 54:17 promises; But in the coming day, no weapon turned against you shall succeed, and you will have justice against every courtroom lie. This is the HERITAGE of the servants of the Lord. This is the blessing I have given you, says the Lord. Isaiah 54:17 TLB
It would be much better if those who are holding on to vital information that would exonerate Jim Bakker to come forward, while he is alive, to once and for all set the record straight!

Note: The name Blood Moon was given to this phenomenon by NASA (National Aeronautics Space Agency). Throughout history Blood Moons have appeared during a total lunar eclipse, which is what causes the moon to appear red.

How a blood moon is formed
Mark Biltz, author of the 2014 bestseller book titled Blood Moons and pastor of El Shaddai Ministries in Tacoma, Washington (http://www.elshaddaiministries.us/) is the man who first discovered the connection of four Blood Moons appearing in a two year cycle to the Jewish Holy days of Passover and the Feast of Tabernacles. He has since been a guest on several Christian TV programs including The Jim Bakker Show. Below is a short video of Pastor Biltz with Jim Bakker in 2014.
What Pastor Biltz discovered is that in the last 500 years there have only been three times that four consecutive blood moons appeared in a two-year period that were in conjunction with the Jewish holy days of Passover and the Feast of Tabernacles. While researching this information, he realized that startling historical events involving Israel occurred on or around this unusual pattern of Blood Moon appearances.
The first set of four consecutive blood moons in the past 500 years appearing on the holy days of Passover and the Feast of Tabernacles were in 1493-1494, around the Spanish Inquisition. This was a time when the Jewish people were being persecuted. Some were tortured if they didn’t convert to the religion of that time, some were forced to flee without a single thing they owned, and some were reported to have actually left on Christopher Columbus’ ships when he discovered America.
The second set of four blood moons that appeared on the holy days of Passover and Feast of Tabernacles were in 1949-1950. This was the time when the Jewish people returned to their land after World War II, and Israel was reborn as a nation.
The third set of four blood moons were recorded by NASA as occurring in 1967-1968 when the Six Day War against Israel took place. Israel not only won the war in six days, but against all odds recaptured Jerusalem for the first time in 2000 years.
The following dates are when the next set of four blood moons will appear in a two year period on the Jewish Holy Days of Passover and Feast of Tabernacles:
1. April 15, 2014 at Passover
2. October 8, 2014 at the Feast of Tabernacles
3. March 20, 2015 Total Solar Eclipse
4. April 4, 2015 at Passover
5. September 28, 2015 at the Feast of Tabernacles
Note: There was also a total solar eclipse on March 20th, which fits into the pattern of this particular cycle of blood moons that fall on the Jewish holy days of Passover and the Feast of Tabernacles.

New stained glass window in Upper Room
During the month, The Upper Room began work on restoring the stained glass windows in the upper chamber. Russell James posted the following message on the Upper Room’s facebook page:
Very exciting news!
Starting tomorrow March 10th, we will begin the restoration of the seven windows in the Upper Room. Much of the wood around the windows has rotted away from years of neglect. They will be reinstalled with treated wood and PVC trim.
Leading this project is Wayne Stewart of Stewart’s Affordable Home Solutions. This man knows his windows! We highly recommend Wayne. This is the man that did all the windows in “The Barn”.

On the left, Russell James, Doug and Sandy Perrone working on the new window; on the right, Wayne Stewart working on the first window
Also, this week we are asking for volunteers to come out and do small jobs that only take a few hours. Things like: cutting up some stumps, burning tree limbs, moving furniture around, scraping old plaster, painting, helping me get video reports out about the work, going to the store to buy things that Wayne may need and a few other little items. Anyone good at planting flower bulbs? We think we have all the funds needed for this big project, but a little more sure would help.
Sometimes the Upper Room may have to be closed and also the streaming may be down. We are, at some point, going to move the streaming camera so that you can see the work going on. The main thing is, please keep us in your prayers this week.

Another Church is moving on the Grounds: The Movement, pastored by Lathan Wood, has combined their Charlotte and Rock Hill locations. The newly established church is presently moving into the building located at 8160 Regent Parkway, Suite 101. Sunday services will be held at 12:30 p.m. and they also meet on Wednesday nights for Bible Study.

The Movement, pastored by Lathan Wood
On their website http://www.itsamovement.org/, Pastor Lathan Wood is described as follows:
“Pastor Lathan Wood hails from Atlanta Ga., where he served under the ministry of Bishop Kent David Branch at Pilgrim Cathedral of Atlanta as the minister of music and later as youth minister.
With a passion for young people and seeing others live out their best life in Christ, Pastor Lathan has allowed the power of God within him to transform the lives of many through various outreach and youth fellowships. His heart for young people is phenomenal and part of what drives The Movement’s mission and purpose. Starting with this generation and beyond, he strives to raise up, equip, and send a body of believers driven by God’s love and assignment for them both individually and collectively.”
THE MOVEMENT– When asked why he started the Movement, Pastor Lathan simply replies, “It was God.” He truly believes God provided him with a vision for this ministry; even uprooting his entire family in Atlanta, Ga. to Charlotte, N.C., only a few weeks after his youngest son was born to start The Movement in August 2012.
Pastor Lathan felt he was being called to ‘move’ people closer to God and God’s purpose for their lives. With this in mind, The Movement’s mission is to, “ignite people to love with the passion of Christ.”

11. Abounding Grace Church meets in the Magnolia Room of the Heritage Grand on Sunday mornings at 11 A.M.
In the summer of 2013 God began to put the birthing of a church on the hearts of Pastors Michael and Nicole Carson. After much prayer and fasting, Abounding Grace Church was birthed in February 2014. This is God’s church where all are welcome. It is a Full Gospel Non-Denominational Church with a Pentecost experience.
While Abounding Grace Church is new, its leaders have been involved in various ministries locally, nationally and globally. We have witnessed many miracles in the lives of God’s people! We have seen the dead raised, blind eyes opened, the deaf hear, the sick and diseased healed and the crippled walk! We are excited about what God is doing in these times and can’t wait to watch Him manifest in your life! Come as you are and leave eternally changed!

Julius Washington (an artist at work)
The Upper Room’s Volunteer Work Week started Monday, April 13th and ended on Friday the 17th. From 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., a total of fourteen volunteers logged in hundreds of hours of their time and talent to refurbish the building. And in spite of the weeklong rain that inhibited the yard work from getting done, the inside looks incredible. Julius Washington, Jim Garvich and Alan McCain were part of the team and worked tirelessly scraping and re-plastering the entire ceiling, archways, walls and window frames in the upper chamber.
Other volunteers helped clean, move furniture, supply food and Electrician Alan McCain checked out the many electrical outlets. It was a small miracle to see all of this accomplished in just a few days. Now Russell is looking for a good painter to complete the upper chamber’s renovation.
The new addition to the parking lot is Russell’s next goal, and when it is completed there will be room for approximately 80 cars.
God Bless each and every person who gave of their time and talent!

Seeing God in Everything ~ by Robyn Near
Recently, I was blessed with the opportunity to help an elderly man. This opportunity came about as my daughter Sammy and I pulled into our apartments and saw an elderly man lying in the parking lot. He had fallen out of his wheelchair and was unable to get up. We rushed over and I asked him if he was okay and he frantically kept telling me to call the police to help him get back into his chair. I immediately called 911 and the operator wanted me to ask him some questions. It was then that I realized he was very hard of hearing and couldn’t hear me speaking to him. He was face down and couldn’t look up enough to see me on the phone and kept asking, “Did you call them? – You didn’t call them did you?”
He was so afraid that I was just going to leave him there helpless. He must have been feeling so many things. I kept rubbing his shoulder and even though he couldn’t hear me I kept telling him, “They are on the way. They are going to help you get back into your wheelchair. It’s going to be okay.” The ambulance arrived and the paramedics got him back into his chair. He looked at me and smiled, and I could tell he was so grateful. My heart jumped for joy. I smiled and put my hand on his shoulder and told him I was so glad he was ok!
I realized that is a picture of us and God. We are face down on the ground unable to get up on our own, crying out for help. We are alone, we’re helpless and we feel hopeless. There, breathing into the pavement, all the bad choices that led us here that knocked us to the ground circling round and round in our head beating us further down. Then, without warning, there is suddenly feet! We cry out again, “Help. Please help!”, but we are so far down in the ground, so focused on our problems that we can’t hear the response.
Then the thoughts start again, “Maybe these feet… Maybe they aren’t going to help us… Maybe there is no help… Maybe we have fallen too far… Maybe there is no getting back up…” Just as we are about to be swallowed in hopelessness, we feel a touch on our shoulder, a touch that says it’s going to be alright! Hope surges from that touch! We are renewed! Those feet! They care!
There at those feet we find hope! So now we just have to hold on. It’s going to be okay. Then, because of those feet, we are lifted up. Our eyes meet His and WOW! This is Him, this is who saved me! Those were His feet; that was His touch. He cares about me. He picked me up in my brokenness. He was there when I was all alone. He came when I cried out! Then something even more beautiful happens, He smiles. He smiles at us! He is joyful for helping us! He wants to help us! He wants good things for us.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11

The Honor of Kings
~ By Jim Bakker | April 2, 2015
In Proverbs 24:2 the Bible says “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter but the honor of kings to search out those things.” Because of Christ we are all kings and queens of God. This ministry is about searching and understanding what is coming directly from the Bible. From this understanding we are to prepare and teach others about His Word! These past couple of months this ministry has had revelation and understanding coming to us at a rate that makes my head spin. Thank you Jesus!
For decades I have taught Revelation. It all began when I was in prison. Much of my knowledge and understanding of God’s Word I called into question. I really thought I had a true understanding of my calling and of all the countless hours of deep, sincere study in my lifetime. I love Jesus more than I could ever express to another person, yet there I was, alone and devastated. The Lord in His infinite wisdom and for my salvation directed me back to the beginning. This created the task of opening my mind and heart to what God wanted me to hear and I poured myself into His Word. Eventually the Lord led me to Revelations, the one mysterious book that many Church leaders decided long ago was irrelevant or too difficult to understand or teach.
I tried my very best to be faithful to God on this task and began the journey of a lifetime. Whenever I needed direction the Lord sent a teacher or a book or an experience that has kept me searching for more. He gave me this television ministry to share what I have learned with ALL of you. He gave Lori and me the drive to keep going when we really didn’t think we had it in us. God sent people filled with the gifts this ministry needed to thrive and amazing miracles just when we needed them. We all know that this comes from the Lord’s eternal love for each and every one of us!
In the past 3 years the ever increasing amount of knowledge coming to Lori and me, our staff and students is mind boggling. We began a path together with God’s blessing and now each step of the way is highlighted by teacher after teacher. We learned of the Harbingers, the Blood Moons, the Hebrew calendar, and the intense and profound connection between Israel and what happens to the United States when we are not supportive of His people. We have moved on to learning about Islam, understanding the battle that is beginning, and the very real dangers we are facing. All of us have been given the incredible opportunity to prepare for what is coming and have received the outpouring of knowledge that is flooding in with great gratitude! But, we must keep going!
Imagine if I had told the Lord that I had already studied the Bible and I already knew it? Imagine if we had let pride and insecurity keep us from pouring once again into His Word as if we had never seen it before? Imagine if the people of this ministry had left their minds and hearts closed to the love and depth of understanding that Jesus was placing before them?
Revelation is no longer a future event full of things unseen or not experienced. It is RIGHT NOW and the Lord has guided us step by step to prepare for THESE DAYS! If you cannot see this please go to His Word. Ask for His guidance and study HARD! If you seek you shall find, but in order to do this you must open your heart to truly hearing what the Lord has spelled out for you! It is our Honor to hear Him. It is the Honor of Kings to search for what HE is waiting for us to find!
You must begin NOW! God is waiting to open HIS WORD to YOU!!
Love, Jim

This is a 1979 video from the PTL Club where Jim Bakker’s special guest was Colonel Sanders, founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken. This is a testimony of the generosity of this humble Christian man who brought Southern fried chicken to the world!
Signs of the times:
You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!

And if Christ has not been raised, then your faith is useless and you are still guilty of your sins. In that case, all who have died believing in Christ are lost! And if our hope in Christ is only for this life, we are more to be pitied than anyone in the world. But in fact, Christ has been raised from the dead. He is the first of a great harvest of all who have died. 1 Corinthians 15:17-20
The Upper Room: On the 2nd, Russell James hosted a special Communion Service for twenty-seven South Korean pastors who represented several churches from their nation. Pastor Jung headed up this group who were visiting churches in our area, and Russell cordially invited all of them to visit the Upper Room.

After the Communion Service ended, Russell sent Jim Bakker an encouraging e-mail to let him know that his vision for worldwide evangelism from the Upper Room at Heritage USA lives on!
NOTE: During the PTL years Pastor David Yonggi-Cho, pastor of the Yoido Full Gospel Church in Seoul, South Korea, which is the largest church in the world with over one-million members, visited Heritage USA and was a guest on the PTL Show. In fact, Pastor Cho’s mother-in-law was one of Jim Bakker’s special guests at the opening day celebration of the Upper Room on July 4th, 1982.
Upper Room Historian Clint Rogers has created a large display in the lobby chronicling the history of the building from its inception. One of the pictures displayed in a rolling slideshow is of Pastor Cho’s mother-in-law sitting at the large table inside the Upper Room with Uncle Henry, Aunt Susan and other invited guests.

In 1980, Jim Bakker traveled to Yoido Full Gospel Church in Seoul, South Korea and visited the legendary Prayer Mountain located there. What caught his attention were the many Prayer Grottos on this sacred mountain. Prayer Grottos are small, secluded places of prayer for those who desire to be alone with the Lord. Pastor Jim was so impressed by these grottos that he decided to place a number of private prayer closets inside the Upper Room when it was being constructed in 1981.
The inspiration for the Upper Room itself came about when Jim Bakker visited Jerusalem in 1981 and visited the actual Upper Room. He promptly took pictures of the 2000 year old structure along with writing down its precise measurements in order to exactly duplicate the building on the grounds of Heritage USA. The Lord told Pastor Jim that if he built an Upper Room at Heritage USA, He would save the PTL Ministry from the many problems it was experiencing at the time. After the Upper Room opened on July 4th, 1982, as the Lord promised, Heritage USA and the PTL Satellite Network became one of the most powerful Christian outreaches in America, helping millions of lost people come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Heritage USA Museum: The Heritage USA Museum is located off Main Street inside the Heritage Grand Hotel. This unique project was started a few years ago by Historian Clint Rogers and Ben Martin, who went to school on the grounds during the PTL years. This museum is an ideal place where people can view a beautifully displayed tribute to Heritage USA and the PTL Ministry. Donors include, Pastor Jim Bakker, former PTL Partners and collectors who have given items from their personal possessions. In the future, Clint Rogers and Ben Martin hope to obtain a larger facility to house everything they are collecting that will chronicle the entire history of the PTL Ministry.

Crowned by God with Loss ~ by Robyn Near
I know it doesn’t sound very good to be crowned by God with loss, but truly it is a life-giving blessing. It happened to me on one of the worst days of my life when I became deeply wounded after learning some terribly painful news. My first thought was, “How could this happen?”
I knew the Lord was going to turn it around and everything that seemed beyond terrible at that moment He would work for my good, and my family’s good. It was all in how I responded. I KNEW the enemy was trying to break me and send me spiraling into a pit of hopelessness that I wouldn’t be able to crawl out of. BUT GOD – He is so faithful.
The day after learning this terrible news, I was playing checkers with my daughter Sammy who had become upset after losing one of her checkers. Then her attitude changed completely when she reached the other side and was Kinged. That is when God changed my perspective. The Lord showed me, “We are like these checkers moving from our starting point to where I am taking you. Along the way you will experience pain and loss, but if you continue to move forward and journey to where I am calling you, I will crown you King with that loss. It will be a resilient crown upon your head that strengthens you and gives you freedom to move in a way you couldn’t before. I could choose to allow you to walk where I am calling you without any trials, but if I did you wouldn’t be strong enough or fully prepared when you got there. If you had not experienced this loss, what would I crown you with?”
This was not an everyday trial. This was an in my face life-changing pain, but there in the suffering God was comforting and speaking to my heart, “I will use this, yes even this will be for my purpose – for my glory.”
The idea that every pain will be a crown upon our head that brings strength and new freedom is a kind of beauty that only God can create.
God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. James 1:12 NLT

During the month, Rick Joyner sent out this challenging article from MorningStar’s “Word of the Week”
In Pursuit of Him – The Greatest Christian Life ~ By Rick Joyner
I have been sharing some of my own story in this study, not as an example of a great Christian life, but from what I have learned being in pursuit of it. What we are addressing as “The Greatest Christian Life” is the life in pursuit of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus as the Apostle Paul described it. This is available to all who love the Lord more than anything else in this life and who esteem doing His will above anything they could possibly acquire for themselves.
As Paul wrote to the Philippians near the end of his life, he did not think he had yet attained this crown, but “this one thing I do, forgetting what lies behind, I press on toward the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:13-14). This was the focus of his life. As I have shared, I have at times been distracted from this focus, as many others likely have. But the greatest Christian life will be found in pursuit of this calling. If you have been distracted from it and are now drawn again into the greatest race of all, do not hesitate.
Two of the biggest traps for those who run the race for the high calling are pride and delusion. These will trip us up if we start to esteem ourselves better than others because we are doing more for the Lord, or if we begin to think we have attained to all we have been called to.
If the Apostle Paul, near the end of such an extraordinary and monumental life, did not consider that he had yet attained to this high calling, it is likely we cannot know if we have attained in this life. Those who do attain will be so lost in Christ that they are no longer focused on themselves and what they may be attaining. The higher we go in the pursuit of Him, the more we will forget about what we get and be devoted to seeing the Lord receive the reward of His sacrifice. This is the true Galatians 2:20 life, when, “It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.”
How would we live if every day our main pursuit was not what we could get out of it, but what could we do for Him?

Morningside Ministries in Blue Eye, Missouri:
The late David Wilkerson pioneered and pastored the Times Square Church in New York City, was the Founder and President of Teen Challenge and authored several books including The Cross and the Switchblade. In 1970, The Cross and the Switchblade was made into a movie that told the gripping true story about the challenges Pastor Wilkerson faced when he first attempted to bring the message of the cross to the inner-city gangs of New York City.
Pastor Wilkerson was also a prophetic voice to his generation, bringing several warning messages to America through his teachings and writings. In the 1970s, he became friends with Jim Bakker and appeared on the PTL Show. The PTL Ministry always supported Pastor Wilkerson’s many outreaches.
In the mid 1980s, David Wilkerson was the minister who prophesied that the unfinished Towers at Heritage USA would not be completed as planned, and there would be birds flying in and out of it because the PTL Ministry changed its original salvation message to one that leaned toward a prosperity gospel. He warned Jim Bakker, but his words went unheeded.
By that time, David Wilkerson had written several books on judgment coming to America if the Christians living in this country did not turn away from the prosperity message and from their sinful ways. Though his message was banned from most churches, he kept on warning of impending judgment. Jim Bakker now realizes that Pastor David Wilkerson was not only a prophet to our nation, but he was ahead of his time!
Recently, Pastor Jim obtained the original PTL Program from November 23rd, 1976 when Pastor David Wilkerson was his guest on the PTL program. He wanted his viewers to see how accurate Pastor Wilkerson’s prophetic words were and are. During this interview, Pastor Wilkerson stated his views on what he saw happening to America because of ignoring God’s rules of order.
This amazing man of God truly heard from the Lord as his prophetic words continue to come to pass.

Then he gave them this illustration: “Notice the fig tree, or any other tree. When the leaves come out, you know without being told that summer is near. In the same way, when you see all these things taking place, you can know that the Kingdom of God is near. I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass from the scene until all these things have taken place. Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear.

For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths. 2 Timothy 4:3-4 NLT
The ever-changing grounds of the former Heritage USA complex continues on as more townhomes are constructed across the road from the Heritage Grand Hotel where the Heritage Island Water Park once stood. Over the years, Sugar Creek Campgrounds, Recreation Village, Buffalo Park as well as most of PTL’s main attractions have been replaced with a wide diversity of housing developments that spread out over the 2200+ wooded acres.

Summerlake Townhomes
As we have written before, during the summer months many people who visited Heritage USA back in the day often drive around the grounds when passing through this area. Older PTL Partners, their grown children and even former members of MorningStar Church, some who left as little as five years ago, are all surprised by the huge amount of changes they encounter.
The few places that survived this huge transformation still bring back pleasant memories to these visitors as they stroll along Main Street inside the Heritage Grand Hotel, visit the Upper Room or drive down to see the Barn Auditorium and PTL’s TV Studio. A few reminisce about their trip to Heritage three decades ago and realize in a nostalgic moment of reflection that although most of the material things are long gone, the memories of their visit will never fade away. They concede that all was not lost.

Main Street
Ironically, even with all the new homes being constructed, there are more new churches on the grounds then when the PTL Ministry owned Heritage USA. Around every bend in the road there is either a new church or ministry.* Why so many churches have been planted here remains something to speculate about, but each Pastor, Minister and Evangelist sincerely believes they were led here by the Lord. With so many of these leaders expecting a huge move of God in America, it is understandable why they felt a call to start a ministry on the grounds where the Holy Spirit once permeated the atmosphere.

Jubilee Life Center Church: This church has been located in PTL’s former Wagon Wheel Restaurant since 2011 and is pastored by Bishop Charles Gibson. Bishop Gibson cordially allowed pictures to be taken inside his church, which is beautifully restored and filled with the unmistakeable presence of God.

Jubilee’s Mission Statement is as follows:
One of the most powerful ways people get to know God is through the lives of others. Christian life styles and the way we deal with difficult situations and people, are things the world never let us live down. Most of the time, the only Bible people will read is the life that a Christian displays. God calls and chooses different people in ministry, with many talents, to aid others in a variety of ways. Christians get so good at fixing others that we omit finding time to fix the cracks in our own lives. We learn to cover it with a smile and say, “It’s not that bad, I’ll take care of it later. Praise God, because it could be worst.
We start out in ministry, more than a conqueror and eager to work. We spent a lot of time reading the word, fasting and praying. These are the things that we felt kept us strong in the faith. We kept the enemy under our feet and those delicate areas of our lives, remained cracked, but not broken!
As time went on, we were confronted with challenging tribulations. Challenges not from the world, but from within the church! Some of the people, who walked close with us in ministry, were no longer there! Friends we thought we could confide in and trusted, started turning in a different direction. Why? We began to leave church worst than we came. The cracked pieces of our lives began to fall apart in hundreds of pieces. We debated within ourselves, who should we turn to? The pastor – No! No! What would he think of me? I know – another sister or brother. Maybe the deacon or the mothers would show compassion and understand. No, the deacon’s brother is the mother’s cousin who is the pastor’s sister. So we held it within, hoping that it would get better.
Eventually, those unresolved challenges greatly disturbed us and began to separate us from the anointing of God. It didn’t mean we no longer operated in our talents and gifts, it meant we operated without the anointing. Every now and then the Holy Spirit needs an open and willing vessel to bless God’s people, so it would fall UPON us. For the spirit that once dwelt IN us will not live in just any condition. We became wounded, discouraged and in need of a breakthrough. We realized we could not fix it alone and we were not going out like that!
We come together as a trans-denominational family, allowing God to restore us and take back the anointing and spirit filled fire that was lost, or stolen from us. By coming together, we stand in agreement to put the enemy to flight!
The Overseer of our fellowship is God. For He alone created the blueprint for this ministry. The Director, Jesus Christ, stands before the Father as an attorney, pleading our case. The Master of Ceremony, the Holy Spirit, reserves the right to change programs, workshops and conferences at will. We that are privileged to serve you are the foot soldiers. It gives us great pleasure to serve you in any way that Christ would. The yoke destroying prayer warriors prep us and the edifice for the major spiritual surgery that we are asking God to do in us.
The awesome praise and worship team secures the sanctuary for the entrance of the Holy Spirit. We know God inhabits the praises of His people. The anointed choirs, soloists, and musicians are our anesthesiologists. They travel from many states to place us on a spiritual high that is so great, you won’t believe it is legal! The spirit filled instructors and speakers are fine tuned instruments that God uses during our surgery. Each one is a specialist in their field, operating in their gifts of the Holy Spirit.

MorningStar Ministries: In his recent Word of the Week titled His Heart for Restoration, Rick Joyner wrote in part;
“So, until the earth is fully restored, having God’s heart for restoration is primary to being engaged in what He is doing. Throughout my life, I have been given increasingly bigger and more difficult restoration projects. Some of these have been buildings, such as when we acquired the former PTL Heritage Grand Hotel and Conference Center.
We needed to restore what had deteriorated to the point where almost no one thought it could be restored. It was difficult, but not nearly as hard, or as important, as the people He gave us to help restore. However, I don’t think anything has stretched my understanding of God and His purposes or revealed the depth of His love for us like being a part of these restoration projects…”

Heritage Grand Café: One of the last projects left inside the Heritage Grand Hotel is the completion of the Grand Café’s kitchen, which was started a few years ago. Work is steadily progressing and MorningStar said that it should be completed during the summer. This café will be opened every day for all those who visit Heritage.

Youth Pastor Andrew Armstong ministering at conference

The Movement 2015, hosted by Youth Pastor Andrew Armstrong*, included guest speakers and singers William Matthews, Bryn Waddell, BJ & Lisa Sullivan, Robin McMillan and Todd Bentley, all of whom ministered either in song or delivering messages igniting the conference goers’ passion for God.
During the conference, over fifteen young men and women were baptized after giving their lives to the Lord. All and all everyone had a powerful time of refreshing, and went back to their churches and youth groups energized with a renewed zeal and passion for God.
*Andrew Armstrong graduated from Morning Star University and joined the MorningStar team as youth pastor in 2009. Andrew has been involved in ministry most of his life. Resting In a New Thing ~ by Robyn Near
I had to take my son Zach to the doctor recently. He is two years old and incredibly sweet while being all-boy at the same time. He had a bad cough and the doctor felt a breathing treatment would really be the best thing to help him get some immediate relief. This meant holding an oxygen mask that was making a hissing noise over Zach’s face. I knew that this procedure would be an overwhelming new experience for him.
While Zach was sitting on my lap, I held the mask on his face with one hand as my other hand was wrapped snuggly around his little body for comfort and security. My big tough boy began crying and pleading with me, “Stop it Mommy, stop it. I don’t want it any more, Mommy stop. I don’t want it, I don’t want it!” I’m sure he didn’t understand why his mom who loved him was holding this scary thing on his face.
As much as this treatment was breaking my heart to administer to him, I knew he needed it and it was going to help him. But that didn’t stop him from wanting to wiggle out of my arms and run from me and the medicine. As much as I tenderly told him, “I love you. It’s okay baby. You are such a big boy,” and said everything a parent could say to comfort their child, he still cried and fought me.
Reflecting on this incident, God showed me how this is a picture of our relationship with Him. Here is our great and loving Father giving us what we need and what we have asked for. We are sitting on His lap wrapped in His love and yet we struggle with this new thing He is doing in us. We fight against it not understanding and not trusting in His love and His goodness. In our fear and sometimes the pain we cry out, “Stop it! Please, I don’t want it anymore!” It doesn’t look or feel like we thought it would when we asked for it.
Our Heavenly Father in all of His mercy holds fast to us. He doesn’t let us go. He knows what we need and He longs to give it to us. I know those moments can be hard and everything can look so scary, but I encourage you to not squirm in the trial but to sit back in your Father’s lap and rest in His love.
For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.

The Upper Room: As most of the churches on the grounds do each summer, the Upper Room hosted a Vacation Bible School from the 15th – 19th called “Kingdom Kids Conference.” For the second year Mary Greene, leader of ‘A Call to Worship’ services, hosted the week long program for children from Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. Along with other qualified leaders including, Leandra Bliss, Scout Walters and Dale Cross, the team taught the children who God really is as the King of kings, what worship is like in Heaven, what the Kingdom of God really is, how to hear God’s voice, and how to become sons and daughters of the King.

Kingdom Kids Conference
The children grew in the Lord as they learned a worship dance, learned to pray, learned the power of the spoken Word as a sword, and were released to bring the Kingdom of God into their homes, schools, and neighborhoods. At the end of the five days, Mary Greene and her staff laid hands on and prayed for each individual child. Then the children prayed for Mary and the staff. God Bless all those who give of their time and talent to every summer Bible program on the grounds.
The Upper Room is now open 7 days a week.

A MIRACLE ANNOUNCEMENT!
After nearly three decades of not being in use, Jim Bakker had the rare opportunity to buy back the original domain name and logo of the PTL Satellite Network. He said that the Generation Now Network logo representing Morningside Ministries, which appears on Roku and other television outlets, was not getting too much attention. So, he checked to see if the old PTL logo and domain name were available. He was overwhelmed when he found out they were.
The Generation Now Network will be renamed The PTL Television Network.
Note: The Inspirational Television Network (INSP) was the new name given to the PTL Satellite Network in 1992 after Morris Cerullo bought the network out of bankruptcy. Morris Cerullo wanted to distance his ministry from Heritage USA after selling his share of the 2200 acre retreat to Malaysians United International, and then went on to build a new facility in Indian Land, South Carolina that his son David is now the President of.The original logo for the PTL Television Network will soon replace the Generation Now Network. World Outreach Center & Touch Point Church meet at the former PTL Welcome Center located at 130 Heritage Blvd. Touch Point is a nondenominational community church pastored by J. Scot Ford, and the World Outreach Center is a missions’ based ministry pastored by John Cava. Because of their current growth, the two ministries are looking into expanding the building.
The following statement is posted on Touch Point’s website:
Touchpoint Church is a family-hearted, Christ-centered fellowship of people from south Charlotte-Fort Mill areas. We all walk through the deserts of life. We all get tired and thirsty. So as a family we reach out for the refreshing touch of God’s presence. We worship Jesus Christ as we fellowship together and encourage each other. Through the Holy Spirit, we are filled with living water. There is no need to walk through the desert alone. Join us as we seek the Lord together.

Pastor Scot Ford
At Touchpoint Church, there are no polite handshakes or plastered smiles. Instead we are a family. We build intentional relationships. We live alongside each other. We let the love of God touch our lives and those around us. Come and see what the family life is all about.
Touchpoint Church was birthed out of the ministry of World Outreach Center, in Fort Mill, SC. In 2007, John & Joanne Cava and Scot & Jeanie Ford began a ministry to prepare people to bring the Kingdom of God to the nations. WOC-trained missionaries now serve in Asia, Latin America, Africa and Europe. These servants of the Lord are the missionaries of Touchpoint Church.
Today, WOC continues to prepare people for cross-cultural ministry, both here in the US and around the world. www.touchpointchurch.org
The following statement is posted on the World Outreach Center’s website: http://www.worldoutreachcommunity.org/. They also have a facebook page at:

World Outreach Center is a community of Kingdom-hearted believers committed to bringing Christ to the nations. Whether by training long-term missionaries for cross-cultural ministry or sending short term teams to make strategic impact, we strive to see the Father’s love transform hearts. Feel the same?
Note: Pastor Ford cordially allowed pictures to be taken inside the church and explained the ministries’ future goal for expansion.

MorningStar Ministries:
July is MorningStar’s sabbatical month of rest from their multi-faceted ministries that include church services, conferences, equipping programs, missions outreach, grade school K-12 and MorningStar University.
However, there are some areas of ministry that never rest. One of these is missions.
Dr. Nancy G. Daniel is an ordained minister who works in MorningStar/CM Missions and is Dean of MSU College of Theology. Below is an eye-opening message she recently wrote on the persecuted church that helps us to better understand what many Christians outside of America are going through for their faith in the Lord.
Fast Track For The Nations ~ by Nancy G Daniel
Fast Track for The Nations was created for the Persecuted Church and pastors of unchurched people, though we will not limit God to these groups only. We have found that these precious leaders and pastors need to be empowered and released quickly. We are doing that by offering power workshops that are biblically based, teaching them to hear from God in each discipline offered through the simplicity of the Gospel.
The Apostle Paul said that he desired to see everyone complete in Christ.
Colossians 1:28
How and Why a Fast Track: Background
I work in MorningStar/CM Missions with Jorge and Anna Marie Parrott. I have personally observed their perseverance, love, humility and dedication for sixteen years or so. Words fail me to describe the sacrifice that I have seen and the example that they have been to the people they serve.
One of our greatest struggles in missions has been to relate all that we see in other nations to the Western Church. It is my hope and prayer that as you read you will see clearly how God is moving and find your place with us.
Our ministry has put in so many water wells I lost count, ministered to millions by way of travel, Skype and has launched many ministries globally. I am personally in the process of writing a certificate program for the nations, which has been a dream of Jorge’s for about 15 years, and as Dean of MSU College of Theology School, I put teachers and curriculum in place and teach as well. All of this is awe inspiring and worthy praise to our great God. But I have to share my passion or rather the Father’s passion, which I believe is the persecuted church and billions of unreached people.
It is humbling to hear and see the people who are suffering for their faith ask us to teach them about God and how to hear from Him, when they can teach us so much. I am so broken and blessed to be a part of it that I have to share it with you.
A pastor, who has a price on his head and lives in a cargo container with his family as he cares for over 20,000 refugees daily, recently asked me for training materials, “Get me training for my leaders and don’t give me any of that western stuff, I need real teaching for real life, my people are laying down their lives and dying for the faith.”
Another missionary with two seminary degrees who ministers in a persecuted area looked at me and asked, “What can you do for me?”
Honestly I did not know what to say. I looked to heaven and quickly prayed then responded, “Your people are dying and do not have time to get degrees they need to be empowered and released, I will get you training to mobilize.” He responded with, “YES THAT IS WHAT WE NEED!”
There were so many other instances of encounters like this that pushed me over the edge to seek the Lord for His strategy to carry this out. I had been working on certificate programs and felt the Lord was confirming that this was indeed His answer.
God’s Practical Answer
During this time I had a stellar Master II class, hungry to be poured out in the nations. Most were pastors of churches in America and abroad. As I taught this year, I could not help but spill out all that the Lord was doing in the persecuted areas of the world.
One church came to our graduation and asked me what was I pioneering? I told them about Fast Track for the Nations. They had some dreams and confirmations along with great faith in a big God and decided to close their doors as a church and become a mission base. They are planning to help me with the certificate or empowerment courses for the persecuted church. We have a few others who will be joining us as well, and plan to roll this out in the fall online first.
We have a dear friend who can get Biblesticks for $1 a piece who says he wants to get them to the refugee camps, but first wants to start in the Ukraine where the children are deaf due to the explosions as they have a modified version for the deaf and blind from war. These Proclaimers come from Faith Comes by Hearing. Some ministries are reaching millions using micro-SD cards in native tongues to spread the Gospel in closed and Muslim nations. Many of these only cost $3-5 each.
Our online Skype team has an outreach that has been a powerful encouragement to many. We are currently reaching church groups online as we can help more people at one time. There is a great harvest explosion worldwide and every drop of encouragement that these precious ones receive from our team is life-giving. They want to know they count and that we are with them. We are teaching them to hear from God so they can encourage each other.
The Harvest is Ripe: Finding Our Part
There are many more stories to share but the bottom line is that the harvest is ripe and people are hungry. They are asking us for our Bread, the Bread of heaven. We are one Body as in Ephesians 4:13. We need each other. We need the persecuted and unreached church desperately. The Great Harvest is upon us and many are coming into the Kingdom. They can teach us what real faith, dependence on God and abiding joy really are.
Each of us is a part and we must work together in the Kingdom as we lay our lives down and follow the Lord. I personally find that laying down my life and dying to my wants or desires is difficult to do. For a Christian, it is like a marriage or friendships centered in love; we give up the right to be right. Forgiveness is the order of the day. I have to abide in Him continually as He transforms me taking each situation to Him. This is dependence. This is dying. This is Kingdom. This is the most difficult but most rewarding part of the journey of being a Christian. Lord help me.
I meet people and hear their stories and am broken by their deep joy and love for God in spite of all they suffer. Their lives don’t depend on what is happening but on their relationship with God. This is life changing for those who get to see this.
If possible, go on a mission trip and see for yourself. For information about how you can, please e-mail Jorge Parrott at; officecmm@gmail.com.
My prayer for you as you read this is that you hear the Father’s passion for the nations and join Him in something bigger than yourself and bigger than your lifetime, by hearing His voice and doing what He says as Jesus did in John Chapter 5:19. In Matthew 7:7 (NCV) Jesus says, “Ask, and God will give to you. Search, and you will find. Knock, and the door will open for you.”
Your greatest adventure starts with relationship in the quiet place of listening. Start today with ten minutes, the world is waiting.

A New Home for Robyn!
This month Robyn has been very busy with moving into her lovely new home. This was not an ordinary move as she has waited over two years for this day and has worked alongside many volunteers in fully restoring a house in Rock Hill, S.C., all of which was made possible through Habitat for Humanity.
On the 22nd, WSOC-TV of Charlotte, N.C. did a news story based on Habitat for Humanity’s mission to build affordable housing and featured Robyn as the recipient of the keys to her new home.
WSOC reported: YORK COUNTY, S.C. —
A York County family now has a new home, thanks to Habitat for Humanity.
Robyn Near received the keys to her new home Tuesday night.
She and her two children have been living in an apartment she said she can barely afford, and they lived in a shelter before that.
Near told Channel 9 she’s grateful to the 300 volunteers who built her the new home.
“You don’t realize there’s going to be such an outpouring of love until you’re right in the middle of it and then everyone is just there supporting you, surrounding you. It’s such a blessing,” Near said.
She purchased the home with an affordable no-profit loan and the monthly mortgage payments will go to building more Habitat homes.

Morningside Ministries in Blue Eye, Missouri:
The PTL Television Network has miraculously been restored back to Jim Bakker! After almost three decades, he was able to obtain all the rights to the original PTL network.
The newly restored PTL Television Network is currently available online and on Roku. There is also a PTL TV Network facebook page at;
https://www.facebook.com/ptltvnetwork?fref=ts
Morningside sent out the following e-mail this month:
“We are so excited to announce that the PTL Network has been restored! Pastor Jim Bakker has always felt a calling to provide a platform for today’s prophets!
The PTL Network will host Prophets such as Joel Richardson, Tom Horn and many more, as well as Classic PTL episodes, Pastor Jim’s Revelation Teaching and of course our most recent tapings of the Jim Bakker Show!” www.jimbakkershow.com.
Pastor Jim Bakker has been warning his viewers of what is about to come upon the earth, but on July 8th he wrote his sternest and most sobering words to date as the Stock Market was halted by a computer glitch. Below is his article on what he sees ahead:
Could this be the Beginning of a Complete World Collapse
A Day of Chaos on Wall Street today! As this is being written, the New York Stock Exchange had been closed for over 4 hours. The Greek Government is scrambling to fix their financial disaster and headlines are screaming out that the real crisis in the financial news is that China is headed for a crash much like what happened to us in 1929. As I have watched the news today, riveted by what is happening all over the country, all I could do was sit and connect the dots. Could the world’s financial system be taking the first major step towards a complete collapse?
This morning, United Airlines had to suspend and cancel flights all over the country because of a “computer glitch”; The Wall Street Journal’s Website went down because of a “computer glitch”. All of these computer glitches and I have a hard time NOT connecting them together. And if these incidents are related, then it had to be by something evil.
There is massive flooding all over the country and power outages occurring because of them. We are also suffering from drought and threats of disease that are wiping out some of our food supply. The warning signs are continuing to flash brighter.
Last night I received a phone call from a recent prophetic guest and wonderful friend, John Kilpatrick. He told me that, “The next 90 days will be more important than the last 54 years of your ministry all together!” He went on to warn me, “Do not be distracted as the next months are crucial! Your voice must be diligent and clear in the next 90 days!”
Time after time, our prophetic guests have told us all that we need to be preparing NOW! It IS time to get ready for what is to come! John Shorey, Rick Joyner, Joel Richardson, Carl Gallups and Rabbi Jonathan Cahn are among those that have just recently been warning the world of what is to come! I cannot help but think of their words as this day unfolds. We will see more of these days of uncertainty, we will see more chaos.
According to Joe Grano, Chairman and CEO of Centurion Holdings LLC and former chairman of Homeland Security Advisory Council: “The two places America is most vulnerable is our financial systems and our energy grid. And the biggest warning light is that our enemies not only can shut down our financial system but also our grid.”
I am committed to bringing you as much information that I can as the days unfold. We are going to be working on this together! On our next broadcast, we will be talking about these world shaking events and piecing them together on the show. We will be discussing the many events that are coming together in this world and what we can begin expecting in the days to come. Today we began construction on our new Roku network “breaking news” facility. We are so eager to finish this new building so that we may bring you the cutting edge news as soon as it is breaking.
The Lord is speaking to all of us in so many ways. We want to hear from you if you feel He is speaking to you! Please send us information that you find and news that you feel is important during these prophetic days.
God Bless you.
Love, ~ Jim

Signs of the times:
“And there will be strange signs in the sun, moon, and stars. And here on earth the nations will be in turmoil, perplexed by the roaring seas and strange tides. People will be terrified at what they see coming upon the earth, for the powers in the heavens will be shaken. Then everyone will see the Son of Man coming on a cloud with power and great glory. So when all these things begin to happen, stand and look up, for your salvation is near!” Luke 21:25-28 NLT

“You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.” Matthew 5:14-16 NLT
The Upper Room: Among the many events the Upper Room hosted in August, the docu-drama FOUR BLOOD MOONS drew the largest attendance. Segments for this prophetic movie were filmed at the Upper Room in November of 2014. When the film was released in March of this year, it was shown in 800 movie theaters across America and has recently become available on DVD.
Once Russell James purchased a license, obtained a large projection screen and projector, he was able to play the movie in the lower level of the Upper Room on the evenings of the 9th and 23rd. Film Producer Rick Eldridge’s lovely wife Krista was a special guest at each showing.
Filming of the Four Blood Moons movie at Upper Room – November 2014
On both evenings, Russell went out of his way to explain how the Upper Room was chosen as one of the locations for segments of the movie and presented a slideshow with many of the behind-the-scenes photos taken during the actual filming. He then played the docu-drama for the enthusiastic audiences and, with the help of a few volunteers, he even served popcorn and cool drinks.
Below is a slideshow from both evenings the movie was shown

Note on Blood Moons: The name Blood Moon was given to this phenomenon by NASA (National Aeronautics Space Agency). Throughout history Blood Moons have appeared during a total lunar eclipse, which is what causes the moon to appear red.

How a blood moon is formed
Mark Biltz, author of the 2014 bestseller Blood Moons, is senior pastor of El Shaddai Ministries in Tacoma, Washington (http://www.elshaddaiministries.us/). He is the one who first discovered the incredible connection of four Blood Moon appearances in a two-year cycle on the Jewish Holy days of Passover and Feast of Tabernacles to historic events surrounding Israel. Pastor Biltz has since been a guest on several TV programs, including the Jim Bakker Show.
Below is a 2014 short video of Pastor Biltz appearing on the Jim Bakker Show explaining his amazing discovery
What Pastor Biltz also discovered is that in the last 500 years there have only been three times four consecutive Blood Moons appeared in a two-year period in conjunction with the Jewish holy days of Passover and Feast of Tabernacles.
The first set of four consecutive blood moons in the past 500 years appearing on the holy days of Passover and the Feast of Tabernacles were in 1493-1494, around the Spanish Inquisition when the Jewish people were being persecuted.
This was the time when the Jewish people returned to their land after World War II, and Israel was miraculously reborn as a nation.
The third set of four blood moons were recorded by NASA as occurring in 1967-1968 when the Six Day War against Israel took place. Israel not only won the war in six days, but against all odds recaptured Jerusalem for the first time in 2000 years.

Blood Moon over Jerusalem
The following dates are when four blood moons appear in a two year period on the Jewish Holy Days of Passover and Feast of Tabernacles in 2014 – 2015:
1. April 15, 2014 at Passover
2. October 8, 2014 at the Feast of Tabernacles
3. March 20, 2015 Total Solar Eclipse
4. April 4, 2015 at Passover
5. September 28, 2015 at the Feast of Tabernacles
The total solar eclipse on March 20th fits into the pattern of this particular type of blood moon appearances, which are also called a Tetrad.

Renewing the covenant
As I was praying about what to write this month, the Lord kept giving me the same scriptures that pointed to renewing the covenant and tearing down idols.
It was wonderful that God showed me what to write about but when I went to put it in writing, the words were not coming no matter how hard I tried. I even wondered if I misheard God. Then in the 11th hour, of course, God showed up.
It happened one morning when I had barely woken up. As I lay on my bed with my mind still hazy, I went to move my arm and realized it was asleep. It was the kind of sleep that you tell a part of you to move and it barely responds. This used to happen to me frequently in high school. I eventually learned that in order to revive my arm quickly, I needed to push blood from my shoulder into it. As I pushed downward on my shoulder, I could feel the blood rushing to my arm, waking it up.
As my arm began awakening, the painful experience of pins and needles rushed into it. I have found out the more asleep my arm is the more painful the waking experience. On top of experiencing the sensation of painful pins and needles, there was an accompanying throbbing ache. Then my arm began to respond to my promptings. At first it feels so odd, like a new limb and not at all like my own. After a moment, it was back to being fully functional. This whole unpleasant incident took about 5 minutes.
God showed me that this is a picture of the Church Body. We have stopped the flow of life-blood throughout the Body. Unable to move vital parts because of this, it has become a shell of what it could be. We are, in turn, walking around crippled and unable to move in the fullness of God.
We see a clear picture of how the body can wake up. We need to pull from the other parts of the body, to stop being so cut off from one another. The “my church” or “your church” with all of our fences and buildings has got to stop. The whole earth and the fullness thereof is the Lord’s. He is not restrained by fences or buildings. We are the church; it is not a place we go to on Sundays.
If you wrap a string tight enough around any limb it will lose its blood flow and soon die. God never meant for us to be separated. We need the flow from one another to operate in the fullness of what God has intended for us. This waking up is of course going to be painful much like the pins and needles we ourselves experience. When that life blood rushes back in, we remove the fences and agree to once again be ONE BODY. The death grip that has us crippled is going to have to leave. New life will happen; much like a woman giving birth. It is both painful and beautiful all at the same time.
How odd it will then seem to suddenly be whole! To feel the new way you move, the strength in it, but it is not new at all. This is the way the Church was intended to operate. We were created for this! It’s built into who we are – individuals created in the image of God with a united purpose. It will only take a moment before we are up and running, flexing our muscles and stretching out our limbs.
Then to hear the Lord say, “Move,” and we respond. Not in the crippled state we knew before but with greatness and fervency. A quickening at the command of our Father! A “Yes and Amen” with the sound of a unified Church echoing across the nations, shaking everything that can be shaken as we carry out our Father’s will. That’s what we are here for.
We must renew our covenant with Jesus. Not with this church or that church. We are not called to be a body, but we are to be THE BODY. Take down the fences and once again let the life-blood flow.
I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose 1Cor 1:10

Morningside Ministries in Blue Eye, Missouri
From the 17th – 21st, Jim & Lori Bakker hosted another Ready Now Expo at Morningside Ministries that drew the largest crowd in its history. The weeklong conference featured special guest speakers including John Kilpatrick, John Shorey, Joel Richardson and Carl Gallups. Seminars were also held daily by experts who shared their expertise on how to be prepared for these times. Specialists on how to store food and other necessities that are needed for enduring the hard times to come were there to present important information on survival.
The following link will take you to pictures from Morningside’s Spring Expo:
http://jimbakkershow.com/photo-galleries/ready-now-expo-spring-2015/
Preparations for the days ahead were echoed throughout the week. All these informative shows can be seen over the next few weeks on the Jim Bakker Show at; www.jimbakkershow.com, or on the ministry’s large outreach on Christian Networks including Daystar, CTN, GEB, WHT, TCT, Angel 1, Angel 2 as well as many secular stations. These shows can also be seen on the newly restored PTL Television Network which is available on Roku.
The PTL Television Network could not have been restored at a more perfect time because on Monday the 24th, the Stock Market began a historic roller coaster ride of falling and rising dramatically. It fluctuated so much so over the next few days that Pastor Jim decided to create a TV program on his new network which will be dedicated solely to keeping people current on sudden, biblically based world changing news.
On the 24th, Pastor Jim Bakker wrote the following:
But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand. (Ezekiel 33:6 KJV)
“Jim Bakker & Team go live today at 8:00 a.m. Central Time – Due to breaking news in China this morning and what they are calling their ‘Black Monday’, the Team and I will be going ‘Live’ on the Internet at http://jimbakkershow.com/watch-us-live/ and on the PTL Network on ROKU this morning beginning when the stock markets open. You can also stay tuned all day on our website at www.jimbakkershow.com where we will keep you informed on what we feel will be an incredibly volatile day on the international markets around the world.
God Bless you!”
Jim Bakker
Pastor Jim also posted a word from Rabbi Jonathan Cahn originally reported by WND:
Author and Bible teacher Jonathan Cahn says he has been so swamped with questions and concerns about the looming end of the Shemitah year on Sept.13 that he can’t answer them all.
“We have been deluged with people calling, emailing, asking questions from all over the country, wanting to know what’s happening. So we decided to put out a video,” Cahn told WND via email.
In the message, posted to YouTube, Cahn calls for a period of national prayer and repentance leading up to the pivotal month of September.
He also issued a new warning about a “desecration” that often precedes judgment and is already present in American society. He calls for Christians to prepare for persecution and get ready to stand for God in a coming period of strife that will increasingly be devoid of “gray areas” or middle ground.

A look back ~
At such an uncertain time in world history, it is refreshing listening to Tammy Faye sing one of her signature songs, Don’t Give Up on the Brink of a Miracle!
Signs of the times:
Don’t be so easily shaken or alarmed by those who say that the day of the Lord has already begun. Don’t believe them, even if they claim to have had a spiritual vision, a revelation, or a letter supposedly from us. Don’t be fooled by what they say. For that day will not come until there is a great rebellion against God and the man of lawlessness is revealed—the one who brings destruction. 2 Thessalonians 2:2-3

The Upper Room
The Upper Room: On Saturday evening the 12th, A Call to Worship hosted by Mary Greene and worship leader William Fulmer invited the Worship Team from Antioch International Church to lead the service. Toni Bogart* was among the team. Before the meeting began, these anointed men and women formed a prayer circle and prayed together fervently. And as they were crying out to God, the unmistakable power of the Holy Spirit filled the room!
*Some of you may recall Toni Bogart from back in the day when she was part of the PTL musical family of singers. Toni is a gifted soloist with one of the most powerfully anointed voices of our time. After the collapse of Heritage USA in the late 1980s, we did not hear about her for many years. It is amazing how the Lord brought Toni back with what some consider a double portion of God’s anointing.
During the service, the union of the people’s spirit touched the heart of God. As Christians from Antioch Int’l Church, MorningStar Ministries and the Upper Room worshipped together, the Holy Spirit remained in the room throughout the evening. The ‘open secret’ to this powerfully anointed service was that these Believers left their church affiliations at the door, becoming ONE BODY. They became so sensitive to Holy Spirit promptings that healings, deliverances and repenting flowed freely.

- Antioch’s Worship Team
Toward the end of this extraordinary gathering, as everyone continued in the spirit, Mary Greene gave a sobering message from the Book of Daniel about “the handwriting on the wall.” Her message was in reference to the reign of King Belshazzar of Babylon who gave orders to bring the gold and silver cups that his ancestor Nebuchadnezzar had taken from the Temple in Jerusalem.
This was so he, his royal guests, his wives, and his slave women could drink from them. By King Belshazzar taking this action, he willingly desecrated the Temple of the Lord causing God’s anger to send a hand to appear among them writing on the wall, “Mene, mene, tekel, and parsin.” This is what the words meant: Mene: God has counted the days until your kingdom will end. Tekel: You have been weighed on the scales and found not good enough. Parsin: Your kingdom is being divided and will be given to the Medes and the Persians.” God then sent His judgment and on that very night Belshazzar, king of the Babylonians, was killed.
Mary went on to describe how America has crossed the line by desecrating God’s covenant with man and abandoning biblical principles. As a result, she sees judgment ahead for our country. She then read Psalm 91, reassuring everyone there that we can run to the Lord in times of trouble. Near the end of the service, Mary called on those who wanted to dedicate or rededicate their lives to the Lord to come up for prayer.
Note: Many of today’s prophetic voices agree that judgment is indeed coming to America. Though they widely differ on theology, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, Jim Bakker, Rick Wiles, John Kilpatrick, Kim Clement, Anne Graham Lotz, Franklin Graham, Joel Richardson, John Shorey and Rick Joyner are among those who are proclaiming this message. May the Lord bless these ministers and all the unsung Pastors and Believers who are speaking up about America’s need to return to God’s rules of order.

Comment: The A Call to Worship services are fast becoming significantly important as the times we are living in grow darker. Today, there are over twelve ministries and churches on the grounds, each one separated from the other.
As of late, there has been a noticeable decline in the number of people attending some of these churches; a falling away appears to be in its beginning stage. This falling away is not only on the grounds, but is also being experienced in mainline churches in America, grieving the heart of God.
Jesus himself talked about the condition of peoples’ hearts when he returns asking,
“But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?”
Luke 18:8 NLT
One of the arguments that can be made is a lack of unity holds back REVIVAL, no matter how much we want to see this happen. On the Day of Pentecost, after 120 men spent ten days together in the Upper Room at Jerusalem, they came into unity; the rest is history!
Will it take a SHAKING or JUDGEMENT for the many ministries on these hallowed grounds where over 10 million salvations were recorded during the PTL years to realize their need to be united in spirit?
On the day of Pentecost all the believers were meeting together in one place. Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting. Acts 2:1-3 NLT
MorningStar’s Comenius School for Creative Leadership is a private Christian school located on Regent Parkway just a short distance from the Heritage Grand. On the 15th, Principal Sandy Woods graciously gave Legasee Publishing a tour of the facility. In their profile, Comenius School describes itself as follows:
A Profile of Comenius School for Creative Leadership
The Comenius School for Creative Leadership (CSCL) is a private Christian school located just south of Charlotte in Fort Mill, South Carolina. The school seeks to rise up the next generation of leaders with the cooperative effort of each family, the church at large, and the staff at school. The vision of CSCL is to minister to the full potential of each student by providing an atmosphere that encourages a love for learning, a desire for excellence, and the development of each student’s gifts, talents, and leadership skills.
As of September 2015, there are 207 students attending Kindergarten through the 12th grade at CSCL; of that number, 95 are high school students. Unlike other schools, CSCL students attend classes Monday through Thursday. With Fridays free and because CSCL is smaller than most schools, students seek to supplement their formal education by taking classes at local community colleges, interning or apprenticing with local ministries and businesses, as well as by taking art, music, dance, drama, and private lessons. Students are encouraged to explore and experiment with different areas of interest and then to pursue wholeheartedly that which most appeals to them.
Students are required to complete 28 credits in order to graduate from CSCL: at least 4 credits each of English and mathematics; 3 credits each of science and history; 2 credits of Bible; 1 credit in physical and health; 1 credit of computer science; and 1 credit in a foreign language with a strong recommendation students continue and study at least 2 years in the same foreign language. Students must complete 9 credits of elective courses including two credits in a service or internship field. CSCL offers AP English Language, AP English Literature, and AP Microeconomics as well as honors courses in all major subject areas. There are also online AP courses in U.S. History, European History, Calculus and Computer Science for students who wish to pursue a more rigorous course of study.
The CSCL graduating class of 2014 scored well above the state average and national average on the SAT with mean scores of 521 on the Critical Reading portion, 560 on the Math portion and 570 on the Writing portion of the test for a mean total combined score of 1651. CSCL graduates attending 4 year colleges have received full or partial merit-based scholarships and are continuing to fare well. CSCL is proud to announce a fourth National Merit Scholarship recipient in five years and another semifinalist in this year’s senior class. The Class of 2014 also produced two recipients of the state’s highest academic award, the Palmetto Fellows Scholarship.
Past graduates of CSCL have been admitted to schools within the UNC and USC systems or in the southeastern part of the United States, including Duke University, UNC-Chapel Hill, N.C. State, USC-Columbia, College of Charleston, Queens University, Winthrop University, Clemson University, Davidson College, Savannah College of Art and Design, Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C., and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

From the 24th – 26th MorningStar Ministries held their annual Harvest Fest (Summit)
Rick Joyner, Pastor Robin McMillan, Evangelist Todd Bentley & Sid Roth were some of the speakers at this year’s event.
Among the many subjects Rick Joyner spoke about, the most powerful was his teaching on the importance of Training, Equipping and Mentoring people before sending them out on the mission field. He emphasized that even the smallest home group can have a great impact once a Christian is taught, trained and mentored. He said that only 10% of the Body of Christ is awake and asked, “How would our own bodies work if only 10% of it was awake?”
Evangelist Todd Bentley just returned from Pakistan where he preached to over 300,000 people. Todd gave a report on the success of his mission, and showed a video of some great healings and deliverances, even raising the dead! He faced tremendous danger in this area, but he is traveling back there in a few months.
Sid Roth spoke about a Revival that is happening right now in Israel where Israelis are getting saved by the thousands! His ministry has and is reaching millions of Jewish people with the Gospel partly because for years he has been distributing copies of his book of testimonies from Jewish Believers titled, They Thought for Themselves. His popular TV program, It’s Supernatural! can be seen daily on many Christian stations.

During the Summit, Rick Joyner’s wife Julie spoke about Operation Christmas Child, which is her heart each year. She needs help in preparing shoeboxes filled with children’s items to send to Franklin Graham’s ministry, Samaritans Purse in Charlotte N.C. With the help of donors, Julie was able to prepare 5,000 shoeboxes last year which were sent to children around the world, and hopes to accomplish the same this year.
Morningside Ministries in Blue Eye, Missouri:
From the 17th – 21st of August, Jim & Lori Bakker hosted another Ready Now Expo. One of their many special guests was Pastor John Kilpatrick of the Brownsville Revival in Florida from 1995 – 2000. This particular show summed up what Pastor Kilpatrick believes is soon going to happen in America if we do not have a turning back to God and a nationwide Revival.

From September 14th – 18th, Morningside Ministries hosted its first Prophetic Conference.
The entire conference can be seen in the Archives section on Jim Bakker’s website at; www.jimbakkershow.com.
Morningside Ministries released the following information prior to this conference;
Numbers 12:6 He said, “Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I, the LORD, shall make Myself known to him in a vision I shall speak with him in a dream.
We know that God speaks to everyone, but sometimes people just aren’t listening. God knows that many times it is easier to hear a message through another person, so He will send one of His prophets. Prophets speak divinely inspired messages and The Jim Bakker Show has been incredibly blessed to have had prophetic, God inspired men from all over the country sharing their visions on our show! These are men who have the courage to speak the truth about what God is telling them! This is the time when we NEED to hear the prophet’s call!
Morningside is so excited to announce that we will be hosting a Prophetic Conference September 14th – 18th, 2015. We understand how important it is to bring these messengers together to address the current conditions of this world. It is vital to know what God is revealing and what is coming next!
Special Guests featured at the conference will be Rick Joyner, Joel Richardson, Rick Wiles, Dr. Chuck Missler and more! We will be taping every day with a Seminar scheduled for each afternoon and special evening service every night! Please join us for this historic and remarkable opportunity to hear the Prophets and Teachers of today! We look forward to seeing you there!
On the restored PTL Television Network, which can now be seen on Roku, or on-line at www.jimbakkershow.com, Jim Bakker is featuring 28 one-hour programs on the Book of Revelation that he recorded after doing a five year in-depth study of this complicated book, taking each word back to its original language. By painstakingly studying the Revelation, Pastor Jim made some remarkable discoveries.
Below is a short clip from one of his teachings on the Book of Revelation:
A look back ~ A PTL Classic: Toni Bogart singing Bethlehem Morning in the Barn Auditorium at Heritage USA.
Signs of the times:
He replied, “You know the saying, ‘Red sky at night means fair weather tomorrow; red sky in the morning means foul weather all day.’ You know how to interpret the weather signs in the sky, but you don’t know how to interpret the signs of the times! Only an evil, adulterous generation would demand a miraculous sign, but the only sign I will give them is the sign of the prophet Jonah.” Then Jesus left them and went away. Matthew 16:2-4 NLT

Last month, on September 14th, Bishop Ron Lambright’s home burnt to the ground. As many of you know, Bishop Lambright is one of the Upper Room’s ministers. Thankfully, no one was home at the time of the fire.
His daughter, Michelle Lambright Black, wrote the following on the Upper Room’s Facebook page:
We have had a TON of people asking how they can help my dad and our family after the fire which destroyed our family home on Monday. Thank you all! In lieu of donations to our family we have set up a fundraiser page with Ambassadors to the Nations (my mom’s favorite charity and ministry) to help children in desperate need in Las Maderas, Nicaragua. Most of my mom’s possessions and tangible memories were destroyed in the fire, but it gives us great peace and joy as a family to know that we can help to keep her memory alive by doing what she loved to do most – help children in need.

As another year winds down at Heritage, the foliage on the tree-lined roadways are slowly changing into a beautiful panorama of brilliant color. With fall arriving, people are already thinking and preparing for the holiday season. We often become overwhelmed as thoughts of all that has to get done before Christmas swirl around our mind. This is the time of year when we become so busy in our daily schedule that we many times make the mistake of unintentionally putting the Lord on the back burner, which takes a toll on our own lives.
The pressures the holidays bring will certainly weigh us down if we do not let God’s supernatural peace dominate our lives. We will then experience the consequences of being governed by our fleshly feelings during the most hectic time of the year. While we accomplish everything that must get done in our own strength, we end up full of worry, insecurity and a whole host of other emotions that will assuredly take control and stress us out to the point of not being able to really enjoy the miracle of the Lord’s birth!
In the Book of Matthew Chapter 6 verses 25-27, Jesus reminds us,
“That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?”

MorningStar Ministries Missions’ Department:
MorningStar’s Missions’ extraordinary mission outreach is becoming increasingly dangerous as tensions around the world continue to escalate. One of the most serious and frustrating challenges these dedicated people, both in the department and in the field, have to face each day is the realities of growing terrorism.
As the Missions Department states on their website,
“Persecution is increasing with violent attacks. Our network of native embedded and trusted pastors are often asked to free people from jail and prison, move them to safe houses, and protect their families until reunited. We need your help as we free them and get them re-established. We are behind the front lines in many many closed nations sharing the love of Jesus Christ.”
Dr. Jorge Parrott is the Missions Director and oversees the many mission projects, travels around the world encouraging missionary leaders and works tirelessly to support their needs. The following video shares some of the vision of the Missions Department as described on their website, http://eaglemissions.org/.
Jorge Parrott has been the President of Christ’s Mandate for Missions (CMM) since 1998. In 2009, CMM joined forces with MorningStar Missions which now has more than five hundred missionary leaders serving around the globe. Many of these leaders have more than one hundred churches and two have more than two thousand churches each in their networks. Jorge and Anna Marie have been married thirty-three years and have three grown sons, Orion, Matthew (married to Miriam), and Jonathan (married to Jennifer). Jorge has more than thirty years experience as an entrepreneur and a Doctoral of Theology and a Ph.D. from NCCT. He helps administer the MSU College of Theology Degree program at MorningStar Fellowship in Fort Mill. His heart was captured by the Lord for the nations when he stepped out in the faith realm and encountered the supernatural love of the Lord.
VISION
Our vision is to be part of the great harvest, to be a witness of Jesus Christ to the nations, through the equipping and releasing of leaders to the 7 mountains.
MISSION
Our mission is to connect and equip with the simplicity, fullness and power of the Gospel:
• To educate and impart to every disciple of Christ to hear the Shepherd’s voice

Morningside Ministries, Blue Eye, Missouri:
During the month, Pastor Jim continued to warn people about being prepared spiritually and physically for the days ahead as he sees the world rapidly racing toward chaos. He recorded the following video message from a collection of his recent shows about what the prophets are saying now:
Article from Charisma Magazine posted by Jim Bakker on 10/07/15
Jonathan Cahn: The Shemitah That Was and the Shaking to Come
I’ve warned that if America continues in its present course, if there’s no return to God, its crown as head of nations will be removed and that I believe a great shaking is coming to this nation and the world.
I believe it is important to give an update.
I have given warning concerning judgment. I have said that I believe America is rapidly advancing toward calamity—that we have crossed the line in our apostasy and defiance of God. I’ve warned that if America continues in its present course, if there’s no return to God, its crown as head of nations will be removed and that I believe a great shaking is coming to this nation and the world.
As for when these things are to take place, I have from the beginning always issued a strong caution, in spoken word and in writing, from The Mystery of the Shemitah itself onward—specifically that we cannot be dogmatic about timing, and that nothing has to take place on a particular date or season, or according to any set calendar, or even as God has done before.
I have ministered that it is wise to be aware of the signs and seasons of the times, and that though such things can take place on biblically relevant times or dates, nothing has to happen on any particular date, whether within the parameters of the Shemitah or in its wake. Our focus must be not on dates but on God and getting right with Him.
At the same time, we remain in a dangerous period—and one of the reasons I’ve always cautioned regarding dates is that I never wanted such focus to obscure or minimize the larger picture: that regardless of what does or does not happen a particular date, America is racing toward judgment.

November/December
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39 NLT
~November~
The Upper Room: On Sunday November 8th, the Upper Room hosted an International Day of Prayer for the persecuted churches throughout the world. Russell James and Fred Yeary installed flag holders on either side of the entire walkway leading to the Upper Room’s entrance and then placed fifty flags in the holders, creating a dramatic display that represented many of the countries where Christians are being persecuted.
In spite of the rainy weather, there was a good turnout for this important vigil where prayer warriors interceded for Christians who are right now being tortured, killed and imprisoned. There are now more than 100 million Christians who daily face this kind of persecution for their faith in Jesus Christ.
On Saturday November 28th, the Upper Room hosted the Fifth Anniversary Celebration of the restoration and reopening of the Upper Room under the leadership of Russell James. This turned out to be a time of sharing the miraculous ways the Lord blessed the ministry throughout the year, and being thankful for answered prayers for thousands of people who either visited the Upper Room or sent in their prayer requests.
As always, Russell presented a full report on the income and maintenance of the building along with sharing some of the struggles he faced during the year, especially with finishing the parking lot. He said that Freedom Christian Center of Fort Mill recently pledged to give $5,000 in a matching grant to help finish this project, meaning that every donation made to finish the parking lot up to $5,000 will be matched. Believing God for the funds to come in, Russell hired an engineer to draw up plans and get the paperwork for the permit and anything else that York County needs to approve the project. The engineer will have it pre-approved so all Russell has to do is take the papers down to the county offices and pay the permit fees.
Upon approval, the parking lot can then be graded, spread with gravel and grass planted, which will keep down erosion. The engineer said that it doesn’t have to be asphalted at this time, which would be extremely expensive, and gave Russell a few ways to accomplish his goal at a good price. Hopefully, 2016 will be the year the parking lot will finally be usable!
During the service, guest singer Jason Funderburk ministered in both song and bringing an encouraging word to all the guests. It was a spirit-filled time of praise and worship that everyone fully enjoyed. Jason’s roots run deep in southern gospel music. His father Danny of the Cathedral Quartet instilled in him a passion for ministry behind the music. Jason has three Gospel Music Diamond Awards and also has had his songs on the Southern Gospel Charts. With his strong lead voice and ability to both minister and make a crowd laugh, he delivered a fantastic time of music and ministry.

Russell then made a few surprise announcements by revealing there have been a few new additions to the grounds. First, he explained that not long after the Upper Room was reopened in 2010, he kept inquiring and looking around on the old Heritage USA property for something that honored the PTL partners, volunteers and employees of the former PTL Ministry. Other than the museum off Main Street inside the Heritage Grand Hotel, he wasn’t able to find anything else – nothing! He acknowledged that he had been thinking about how to honor all those people for quite a while.
Then, about two years ago, he read an article in a local newspaper reporting that there was a big movement underway to take the Ten Commandments out of government buildings and off government properties. In the first part of September of this year, there was another news story about the Ten Commandments being taken out of a courthouse and then he heard yet another report of an outside monument of the Ten Commandments being removed in the middle of the night from the Oklahoma State Capital grounds.
The below video is from the night of October 7th when the Ten Commandments monument was deliberately removed from the Oklahoma capital grounds in the middle of the night to avoid protests: click here
When Russell heard this latest news about a Ten Commandments monument being removed, he became very upset and very angry. At the time, he was sitting in his wife Rita’s office and she asked him what was wrong. After telling her, she inquired “What are you going to do about it?”
This led him to thinking and praying about the idea that for every Ten Commandments plaque or monument that was, and is, being taken off of government buildings or government property, a church should step forward and replace it by putting up a Ten Commandments plaque or monument on their property.
Russell then went out and ordered a reinforced concrete monument having the Ten Commandments etched on it. When it was finished a few weeks later, he picked it up and brought it to the Upper Room. With the help of a few volunteers including, Fred Yeary, Doug Perronne and Charles Black, it was unloaded and placed on a concrete slab that Russell had already made. He chose a location that was in the line-of-sight from the parking lot so that anyone stepping on the entrance’s sidewalk could see it. Russell commented, “We think it will draw people’s attention by placing it there.”
While he was having the monument constructed, he decided to purchase a red granite plaque to honor the PTL Partners, Volunteers and Employees. It is like the one at the top of the new Walk of Faith marking the dedication date of the reopening of the Upper Room in 2010. This plaque was placed in front of the Ten Commandments monument. Both the plaque and monument were unveiled at the Fifth Anniversary Celebration.
Note: Russell not only was able to accomplish what he originally wanted to do, which was to honor the PTL Partners, Volunteers and Employees but the Lord used his righteous indignation and fortitude to do the right thing and have a beautiful monument made to display the Ten Commandments! Both of these projects were paid for from offerings, weddings, donations and love offerings from the A Call to Worship services. This one lone man of God bravely accomplished a tremendous feat in preserving our Christian heritage! Thank you Russell for standing up and taking action!

Regent Park Golf Course sale: Last month the Fort Mill Times reported a sale was in the works for the Regent Park Golf Course. Reporter John Marks wrote that the plans for the golf course include apartments, townhouses and single family homes.
On the 11th of November, the Fort Mill Times reported the following;
Plans for redevelopment of the golf club takes shape ~ by John Marks
Plans for the first redevelopment phase of the Regent Park Golf Club are ready for public review.
Two items on the York County Planning Commission agenda deal with the golf course – the 60-town-home Pikeview Place development and a 462-foot extension of Pikeview Road to support it.
A proposal for 94 single-family homes on another part of the golf course is expected at a later meeting.
The Pikeview extension would cut through golf course parking, and a connection for future residential development would cut through the instructional area, just beside the pro shop.
The townhome project sits west of the extension and includes the remainder of the present parking space.
The townhomes likely are just the first wave. In early October, Regent Park residents learned there were plans for 60 townhomes along with 250 apartments on the golf course. An Oct. 30 message from the community association to residents gave more information.
According to the community association, parcels planned for redevelopment include those containing the clubhouse, driving range and holes 1, 9 and 10. Planned are the townhomes, 288 upscale apartments and 200 or more single-family homes.
The Berry Co. is developing the four-story apartment complex and the townhomes. Meritage Homes would build the single-family homes. Cart paths along the golf course likely would remain as paths connecting the new residential developments.
Regent Park Golf Club is a 250-acre Ron Garl design, with a 26-acre practice facility. A banquet and conference center accommodates up to 200 people. The site has a full-service restaurant and bar. The club sits on the border between North Carolina and South Carolina, spanning two states and three counties.
Jon Gatewood, a Charlotte resident, plays the course at Regent Park about once a month. He said he isn’t looking forward to the redevelopment.
“It’s a good course,” he said. “It’s priced just right for the shape it’s in. It’s convenient for people in Charlotte.”
George Dunlap, owner of the Pinetuck course in Rock Hill, said he wasn’t shocked to hear redevelopment plans.
“The golf business is not what it was 20 years ago,” Dunlap said.”

During the month of November, Jim Bakker continued to focus on the signs of the times as described in the Bible, and how they are rapidly falling into place. His passion is to finish Morningside Ministries, making it into a functioning place of refuge for the last days. He is currently working on finishing the new TV Studio, building a prayer chapel on the newly purchased property that he has named Prayer Mountain, building several cabins for people to stay in when they visit, finishing the big barn he started a few months ago and developing Morningside into a self-contained facility where people can find refuge in the times of trouble he believes that we are now entering.

Signs of the times:
They will say, “What happened to the promise that Jesus is coming again? From before the times of our ancestors, everything has remained the same since the world was first created.” They deliberately forget that God made the heavens by the word of his command, and he brought the earth out from the water and surrounded it with water. Then he used the water to destroy the ancient world with a mighty flood. And by the same word, the present heavens and earth have been stored up for fire. They are being kept for the day of judgment, when ungodly people will be destroyed. 2 Peter 3:4-7 NLT

A look back ~
Tammy Faye genuinely felt compassion for hurting people. It did not matter if they were Hollywood stars, the homeless, the alcoholic, the drug addict or the imprisoned; she believed that God loved them and He shed His blood on the cross for everyone.
A good example of the unconditional love Tammy Faye possessed for people was during the PTL years when she made it a yearly priority to visit the Alabama Women’s Correctional Facility at Christmastime. Below is a video of one of those visits. If you watch this with the eyes of your heart, you won’t see the makeup, eyelashes or tears – you’ll only see Jesus’ love flowing from her to whoever she ministered to.
This is Tammy Faye’s legacy –
“But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit upon his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left.
Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’” Matthew 25:31-36 NLT

Shortly after the Paris attacks in November, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn was a guest on the Jim Bakker Show and gave the following analysis on the terrorist attacks.
Signs of the times:
After saying this, he was taken up into a cloud while they were watching, and they could no longer see him. As they strained to see him rising into heaven, two white-robed men suddenly stood among them. “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why are you standing here staring into heaven? Jesus has been taken from you into heaven, but someday he will return from heaven in the same way you saw him go!” Acts 1:9-11 NLT
On the 2nd, Fox News reported: “Fatalities feared, 3 hunted after shooting at San Bernardino, Calif., center for disabled.” Multiple people were reportedly killed Wednesday at a San Bernardino, Calif., social services facility where employees were hosting a Christmas party, and police were hunting three suspects who appear to have escaped.

Christmas 2015
Rick & I would like to take this time to Thank You so very much for visiting our website during the year. 2015 was such an incredible year of change both in the church and in the world that we are leaving the Timeline up for a while for you to look over before we transfer it into the Archives.
We also would like to take this opportunity to wish you a very blessed Christmas! No matter how much uncertainty surrounds our daily lives, we can hold on to the hope that the Lord is in perfect control and is not overtaken by surprise by all that is taking place in your life or in the world.
God Bless you in 2016 with a peace that passes understanding, the joy of knowing that the Lord will never leave you nor forsake you so that you can live out your days with confidence in His word. May you find comfort in our great God and Savior Jesus Christ who supplies all our needs according to His riches in Heaven.
Wishing you a peace-filled Christmas and healthy and prosperous New Year!
Note: Because of many unfortunate circumstances that occurred in our lives this past year, Rick & I are taking a much needed sabbatical. God willing we will continue the Timeline at a later date, but will continue to keep a record of the changes on the grounds, at Jim Bakker’s Ministry and of World Events so that when we resume reporting we will be up-to-date. Please keep us in your prayers. Again, Thank You for always being faithful to check out our website.
Much love, Rick & Chris
