The below is a review of Pastor Jim’s new book taken from their website, it reads as follows:

In his riveting new book, You Can Make It, Pastor Jim Bakker pulls back the curtain and recounts the many struggles he and his family experienced in 2020. Viewers of The Jim Bakker Show will remember the multiple attacks on our platform and giving platforms, including litigation from across the country and petitions. The Bakker family even shares intimate moments from the night of Jim’s stroke, where he was given a 50-50 chance to live or die while a tornado warning stretched across the city. Through it all, miracles took place at every turn as God intervened and set Pastor Jim, his family, and ministry on a new path for the future.
God’s final time clock is running, and it cannot be stopped. But if recent events have taught Pastor Jim anything, it is that there is security in the body of Christ and God will never abandon us. No matter what you are facing, you can make it. Jim’s testimony of how God brought him through an agonizing year of events shows how God will help you through times when you are struggling to understand the dark times of the past, present, and future. This book is nothing short of a testament to God’s faithfulness. Midnight is about to strike, and God will return very soon for those who love Him. We may be in for unprecedented times, but when the dust settles, those who have prepared and committed their ways to the Lord will find themselves still standing.
There is hope for you, the church, and America, but it can only be found in Jesus Christ. It is time to awaken from your spiritual slumber and fix your eyes on the horizon. Our Savior is returning soon, and He has a job for us all to do! Learn how you can find hope, faith, and courage during this critical and pivotal time for our country, our church, and our faith.

For all those kind and loving people who donated money in my wife Christine Baumann’s memory I along with Russell James, the owner of the Upper Room Chapel, designed a memorial garden in Chris’ name. The below slide show shows what was done to the grounds and also the plaque that Russell and his wife Rita donated for the wall.

  • The new "Memorial Garden" at the Upper Room

The next slideshow shows the new sidewalk on the side of the Upper Room that will lead to the downstairs meeting room.

  • The new sidewalk leading to the lower level meeting room

The next slideshow highlights the “fall sprucing-up” around the grounds.  Russell is starting to have the walkways around the building pressure-washed and they look brand new.

Celebration of Life for Charlene Marie Graham

In loving memory of Charlene (Char) Marie Graham, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, aunt, and friend to countless people, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 27th, 2021. She was 84 years old. She was surrounded by her three children Lori, Mark, Scott, and immediate family. We are grateful to the Lord that she went peacefully into the arms of Jesus Christ, the One she loved the most.

Char was the matriarch and rock of the Graham family. She was a Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of our ministry at Morningside and the PTL Television Network for 23 years. She was an amazing representative for the ministry; continuously counseled members of our staff, volunteers and residents; and worked with many Christian leaders of the world. Char was loved deeply by all who knew her.

She was full of unconditional love, incredible wisdom, and counsel; her legacy will live on forever through the powerful impact she made on others. Charlene Marie Graham, lovingly known as Grandma Char, will be remembered most for the extraordinary faith she had in the Lord, her Savior. She lived her entire life faithful and obedient to Him.

Our family cherishes this time as we celebrate the beautiful life of our beloved Grandma Char. We would like to share with you, her life scripture:

Romans 8:38-39
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Char’s children, immediate, and extended family thank you all for your kind support, encouragement, and prayers during this difficult time.

A celebration of life for Char Graham will be held at Morningside USA’s Grace Street on Thursday, October 7, at 1:00 pm Central. If you are unable to join us in person, we welcome you to join us via Livestream on our Roku, Apple TV, iPhone, and Android apps, or at www.ptlnetwork.com.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Morningside Church, P.O. Box 7330 Branson, MO 65615.
